Lemira fixed her gaze on the two of them. “Quite a bargain, isn’t it? Just one act of kneeling from you is worth tens of millions.”
Evander exploded in anger. “Keep dreaming, Lemira!”
“No, you’re the ones dreaming,” Lemira replied coolly, the corner of her mouth lifting in a cold smirk. “You make demands so casually—it’s honestly naive beyond belief.”
With that, Lemira walked straight to the dining room for her meal, showing no intention of wasting another second on them.
Evelina watched Lemira’s departing figure, then turned to Evander in frustration, complaining, “Talk to Asher, will you? Get him to transfer the shares to Lemira. It’s not like Lemira would get the short end of the stick.”
“I’ll talk to Asher later. Don’t worry, I’ll handle this for you,” Evander reassured her.
Evelina lowered her voice, “And you promised the shares would be under my name, right?”
“Of course. I never go back on my word,” Evander replied confidently. After all, his shares were worth much more than the villa.
Just then, Asher happened to come downstairs, speaking on his phone as he walked. “Make sure all the follow-up ads are scheduled. We need to keep the hype going for our products—only then can we negotiate well with investors.”
Asher ended the call and noticed Evelina’s tearful expression, a flicker of irritation crossing his face.
He glanced at her, “Is your face alright? Book an appointment at the cosmetic clinic—your chin can’t have any issues, or it’ll affect your appearance on camera.”
Evelina’s eyes darted. “Asher, is the company safe now?”
“For now, there won’t be any plagiarism allegations. As for the project, you need to coordinate with PZ Group. Production will start soon.”
“I know, Asher. The factory is ready. As soon as the funds are in, they can begin work. The materials are essentially all prepared.”
Evelina felt a surge of excitement—once Asher started wiring the money, her plan would be halfway to success.
Asher nodded. “You need to keep a close watch on the factory, understand? If there’s any problem, report to me immediately. Don’t let down my trust.”
“Don’t worry, Asher. I definitely won’t disappoint you this time.”
