When They Beg I Rise (Lemira) novel Chapter 696

Lemira met the two-faced girl's triumphant gaze and sullenly stopped her presentation.

Her team leader came over, fuming. "That girl is so annoying! I can't stand women like her."

Lemira glanced at him. "Don't let them get to you. Our product is the best. They can only resort to these dirty tricks, but consumers aren't stupid. They'll see the difference in quality."

"But their methods are just disgusting. We need to talk to the planning department later and figure out a good way to promote our product."

"The Langston Group will definitely accuse us of plagiarism. We have to be careful."

Lemira tried to call Thaddeus to warn him, but he didn't pick up.

"Trying to contact Thaddeus, are you?"

Asher suddenly appeared beside her. "Unfortunately for you, you won't be able to reach him for the next few days. By the time he gets back, the dust will have settled. Consumers will only know you as plagiarists. And our Langston Group product will be known through a beautiful love story."

Lemira lowered her phone. "So it's true. You people in the corporate world really play dirty."

No wonder Evelina was now a senior executive. They planned to use the fabricated love story between her and Evander to sell their product.

Asher chuckled. "Did you think this was a game? Business competition is brutal."

Lemira sneered. "It's not over yet. How do you know you'll win?"

"Still stubborn, even at the bitter end."

Asher glanced at an approaching official. "I'm the one who reported Maple Group for plagiarism and patent infringement."

"Impossible. Our company has patented all our technology. There's no infringement."

Of this, Lemira was certain.

Asher produced a patent application certificate, speaking casually. "Here's the proof."

A smirk played on Asher's lips. "To the victor go the spoils. You lost this time. Be a good girl and come back to the Langston family. I can even introduce you to some men from high society. It's time to dump that broke school doctor."

Lemira glared at Asher's retreating back, seething.

And Thaddeus was unreachable at such a critical moment.

Finally, she took out her phone. There was only one person left who could solve this.

She hadn't contacted Orion since she left the hospital.

But he was a shareholder in the company. She couldn't let everyone's hard work go to waste.

Lemira took a deep breath and dialed his number.

When she heard his deep voice, her heart couldn't help but beat faster.
