Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia) novel Chapter 373

Chapter 373 All Lies

Elijah hugged Cordelia and whispered, "Do you know, Cordelia? My mother's first man was not my father. They all hid it from me. They were all the same."

Elijah suddenly laughed, but Cordelia could see all the pain hidden in his eyes, which was hard to detect.

"You're drunk." Cordelia hugged and comforted him. "I'll take you back, okay?"

"I am sober."

Elijah rested his chin on Cordelia's shoulder, and his eyes were clear.

Cordelia knew who Elijah was talking about. It was Jayden.

However, Edith said that the man ruined her life.

It seemed that Elijah's faith was about to be destroyed by his parents' past events.

After returning to the hotel, Elijah remained silent.

His phone rang for a long time, but he didn't answer.

Later, Cordelia came to his bedside and saw the call from Edith. She tried to persuade him to answer the phone.

Elijah shook his head and looked at Cordelia. "Answer it for me, and tell my mother that I'm asleep."

Cordelia looked at him and sighed, "Okay!"

Elijah had entered a dead end in thinking.

Although Cordelia was sympathetic, Elijah needed to persuade himself and solve the problem, just like what had happened to Tristan.

No one but himself could help him.

Therefore, Cordelia went to the balcony to answer the phone.

Edith's voice was weary. She asked in puzzlement, "Cordelia, where's Elijah?"

Suddenly, Edith held Cordelia's hand tightly and said excitedly, "Cordelia, what happened back then was not like that."

Cordelia was stunned. She thought for a moment and looked at Edith with uncertainty.

She wondered whether Edith was drunk.

"Edith, I don't understand what you meant." Cordelia frowned.

Edith suddenly laughed heartily. "Mia, the bitch, she lied. Everything she told us was all lies."

Cordelia was confused. After thinking about it, she asked, "Edith, are you talking about Eason's identity or the relationship between Mrs. Mia Holland and Gabe? Or are they both lies?"

After asking, Cordelia was eager to know the answer.

Could it be that there was more about the issue?
