"My job is to take you home. If you don't leave, I won't either," Callum said, snatching Adora's glass. "Stop drinking. It's not worth ruining your health over some jerk."
Adora's eyes were hazy, but she leaned in and whispered mysteriously, "I'm not that stupid. I've arranged some fun for myself. There are plenty of men out there, not just him. Don't you agree?"
His expression tensed, vaguely guessing what she meant as a bad feeling crept in.
Sure enough, within two minutes, there was another knock on the door, and several handsome young men entered.
Callum immediately shouted, "What are you barging in for?"
"We're the male escorts Ms. Lawson requested," one of them replied.
"Oh right, I hired them," Adora said dreamily, beckoning the men with a flirtatious curl of her finger. "Come here. Let me see what you can do."
Callum glared at them and growled, "Don't come in. All of you, get out!"
The escorts looked at each other, hesitating.
Then, Callum grabbed an empty bottle from the table and smashed it near their feet.
"I said, get lost!"
As the glass shattered, the escorts flinched and quickly left.
Callum grabbed Adora's arm, disbelief in his voice. "If they had come in and word got out, you'd face severe disciplinary action, whether anything happened or not. You'd ruin yourself! Are you willing to throw away your career over some worthless guy?"
Adora remained unmoved, her face still flushed. "When you were still drinking milk, I was already running all over the world. You might be misunderstanding the word 'mature'."
He took Adora's hand and slipped it under his thin shirt, placing it on his well-defined abs.
"Then why don't you teach me the true definition of maturity?"
She had to admit, his abs felt pretty good. It seemed that the little boy she had watched grow up had really become a man.
Taking advantage of her distraction and dizziness as she leaned against his chest, Callum swiftly picked her up and carried her out of the club. Without his hat and mask, his good looks and height drew attention even in the dark.
Some people discreetly took photos with their phones, while hidden paparazzi went wild, taking multiple shots, desperate not to miss any details.
