Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 2076

This was the most bearable punishment for Asher's weak body, and he had no choice but to accept it.

"Got it. I'll reflect on my mistakes."

Callum had another nightmare.

As soon as he closed his eyes, the sensation of falling overwhelmed him, and his little heart seemed like it might stop from fear.

In his dream, he floated in the air, watching Nathaniel care for Asher.

In the ward, Nathaniel was feeding Asher, blowing on each spoonful of food to cool it.

He sighed heavily and said, "Asher, you're such a great and obedient child. It's a shame you aren't my son."

In the dream, Asher asked, "Uncle Nate, don't you like Callum?"

Nathaniel shook his head. "He's too foolish, clumsy, and playful. He doesn't deserve to be my son."

Callum floated helplessly, watching and listening with a heart aching so badly he felt he could suffocate.

Tears streamed down his cheeks; no matter how much he wiped, they would not stop.

His eyes were swollen from crying, and he desperately tried to get closer to Nathaniel, clinging to his leg and begging, "Daddy, don't leave me. I'll be good. I'll listen to you from now on. Daddy, please…"

Nathaniel frowned in disgust and kicked him away.

Callum tumbled across the floor like a ball, rolling several times before stopping in the corner of the room.

His tears blurred his vision, but he could still see Nathaniel's heartless expression clearly.

"Don't! Please don't… Don't, Daddy! I'm sorry… I won't do it again…"

His voice was muffled and unclear from crying so hard.

Nathaniel could not understand him clearly and carefully pulled at the edge of Callum's blanket.

"Callum, are you feeling uncomfortable? Let me check on you, okay?"

Callum's tiny body, wrapped tightly in the blanket, curled up into a ball and shook with sobs, refusing to be touched.

Seeing his son's distress, Nathaniel quickly pressed the call button next to the bed.

Within a couple of minutes, a doctor rushed in.
