Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 2015

The hard wooden cane struck Nathaniel's back with a dull thud, causing a sharp sting.

He curled his palms and silently held the urn tighter, enduring the punishment in silence.

Mildred had always been kind and understanding, treating the younger generations well.

This was her first time striking Nathaniel, but even Gabrielle did not step in to stop her.

With Mavis gone, Gabrielle felt Nathaniel deserved this, and maybe more.

If Nathaniel had not been her brother, Gabrielle would have gladly added a few slaps.

Sheena noticed Mildred was tired and gently stopped her.

"We can't bring back the deceased and punishing him further won't change anything. We should arrange a private plane to take the baby back to Froania as soon as possible."

Mildred quietly wiped away her tears and shot Nathaniel a long, disappointed look.

Then, she ordered the family bodyguard, "Do as Sheena suggested and arrange it immediately."

"Yes, Madam Nicholls."

During the wait, Mildred finally had the chance to hold the baby.

The little one's big, stunning blue eyes were identical to Nathaniel's.

With his fair skin, he looked like a tiny angel.

Every time Mildred looked at him, she was reminded of the life Mavis had sacrificed for him, and she wept silently.

The atmosphere in the room was somber.

Sheena knew all the details but could say nothing more besides sighing in resignation.

Several hours later, Troy had the Nicholls Group's private plane prepared.

Sheena responded with a hug emoji.

[Don't mention it. Just live a happy life. That's the best reward.]

They chatted a bit more before Elliot and Sheena walked side by side, heading out of the airport.

Elliot glanced occasionally at Sheena's screen, quietly feeling a pang of jealousy.

Sheena had never sent him the hug emoji with such affection.

Unable to hold back, he asked, "Nana, you're comfortable sending hug emojis to other girls. What about me?"

"What?" Sheena was confused.

Elliot promptly bent down and lifted her in his arms, saying with a grin, "It's okay if you don't like hugging me. I'll take care of it myself."

Sheena stifled a laugh, wrapped her arms around his neck, and let him carry her out.
