Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1959

Elliot's smirk sent a shiver down Kelvin's spine, and he recoiled in fear.

With a cheeky grin, Lionel asked, "Care to guess?"

Everyone knew Lionel was adopted into the Jenkins family.

While he had no children of his own, Elliot did. Moreover, they were very close, and it would make sense for him to accompany Elliot on such visits...

Kelvin connected the dots, and his face turned ashen.

He had boasted so much that he had attracted the real Elliot.

It was a disaster!

"I'm so sorry! S-So sorry!" Kelvin stammered, bowing repeatedly.

"Carter was talking nonsense. I don't actually know either of you. Please don't hold this against us."

Carter saw Kelvin's humbling display and also bowed, his earlier arrogance completely gone.

Lionel was uninterested in further interactions and left with a warning, "If you ever use Elliot's or my name to lie again, expect an international lawsuit. You'll be eating free meals in prison for years."

"That won't happen again. We'll never do it again!" Kelvin assured, still bowing.

Elliot snorted in disdain and left for the next school on his list.

At the estate.

Nathaniel spent the entire morning by Mavis' side, not leaving her for a moment.

When he saw her struggling with water, he offered to help, but Mavis skillfully avoided him.

Throughout, she ignored him completely, as if he were invisible.

Her coldness hurt his feelings, and he had never looked so dejected.

However, Nathaniel did not give up.

He followed Mavis like a shadow.

When she went to play with the chickens, he was right there.

When she fed the sheep, he did the same.

He was as forceful as ever.

Mavis's eyes reddened with anger.

"Nathaniel, we're divorced! I'm your ex-wife now. It's only natural that I leave the Nicholls residence. Where I go has nothing to do with you. Just because you're looking for me doesn't mean I should be moved to tears, right?"

Nathaniel smirked.

His beautiful blue eyes glistened as he said, "Ms. Olsen, your memory seems a bit faulty. You signed the divorce papers, but are you sure I signed them too? Have you actually received the divorce certificate?"

She was stunned.

Given the circumstances, Nathaniel was supposed to sign, right?

Had he not?

"Nathaniel, we agreed to sign the divorce papers after a year, as clearly stated in the agreement. Are you trying to play dirty?"

He raised an eyebrow. "I set the agreement, and I have both copies. If I don't produce them, who would know about the agreement? Either way, you're still legally my wife, and that hasn't changed."

Mavis finally realized Nathaniel had not signed the divorce papers.
