Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1951

After Nathaniel arrived at the estate, he could not quite put his finger on it, but he felt an unusual sense of familiarity.

The place was inexplicably comforting, though he could not pinpoint exactly what made it feel that way.

That evening, Nathaniel skipped dinner as he lacked the appetite.

Despite Ella's repeated invitations, Nathaniel did not go out.

He had been mentally exhausted lately, and he finally found a place where he could truly relax.

It was rare for him to get such a restful night's sleep.

The next morning, Nathaniel went for a walk.

Ella, who had risen early to prepare breakfast, saw him and approached to greet him.

"Good morning, Mr. Nicholls. Did you sleep well last night?"

Nathaniel gave a slight nod.

Ella smiled gently. "You didn't come for dinner last night. Are you sure you slept well? Didn't you get hungry?"

Nathaniel replied coldly, "No, I'm fine. I'm used to irregular meals due to work, so it's not unusual for me."

Ella looked surprised. "Irregular meals are not good for you. Over time, you could develop stomach issues."

From Ella's perspective, Nathaniel seemed like a high-ranking executive from a major company.

Without much corporate experience herself, she found it hard to believe that anyone could skip meals regularly.

To her, no matter how busy work might be, one should always eat properly.

Ella shook her head, feeling sorry for him.

"Since you're on vacation, try to put work out of your mind and relax. Make sure to enjoy yourself."

Nathaniel nodded in acknowledgment and then continued on his walk.

In the kitchen, Ella glanced at the far end where a woman with a prominent belly was organizing dishes.

She shouted, "Mavis, you shouldn't be doing that. Let me handle it!"

As Nathaniel stepped out of the kitchen, he heard Ella shout the name and froze in his tracks.

Mavis?

When she turned around, her eyes met Nathaniel's, and they both froze, staring at each other in shock.

Mavis was the first to recover.

With a cold expression, she turned to walk away.

Nathaniel quickly moved forward, grabbing her wrist.

"Am I that scary? You can't even say hello?"

Mavis did not turn back and tried to pull away from him, her tone icy.

"Sir, we don't know each other well."

Ignoring her attempt to pull away, Nathaniel wrapped his arms around her from behind and whispered, "You signed the divorce papers and ran. Do you know how long I've been searching for you?"

Mavis fell silent.

How did he find her?

Did Sheena tell him?
