Yvette's theory was not impossible.
Gurenchti was full of unpredictable elements, with numerous small gangs eager to overthrow them.
Omari asked Elliot, "Mr. Jenkins, can you help me deal with Giorgio's lab?"
For Omari, the other gangs were not a threat.
However, he did not know what was inside Giorgio's lab, so he dared not act recklessly.
If Giorgio had developed some sort of bioweapon, it could spell disaster for everyone involved.
That was why Omari had hesitated to take action. He did not want to endanger Yvette again.
Elliot replied, "Of course, but don't forget your promise, Mr. Eipstein."
Omari nodded. "Don't worry, Mr. Jenkins. I always keep my word. I will repay this debt."
After finalizing their plan, Sheena and Elliot prepared to leave the mansion.
Just before they left, Omari called out to them.
"I have one more request, if you don't mind."
Sheena was surprised and urged, "Go ahead."
Omari glanced at Yvette and asked, "Can Yve stay with you for now?"
Giorgio was a madman.
If things escalated, Omari feared he would not be able to protect Yvette.
Yvette protested, "Daddy, I'm not a child anymore. I can take care of myself."
She was already twenty!
"Yve, this isn't the time. I'm doing this for your own good!"
Sheena looked at Elliot and then at Yvette, before agreeing.
"That's fine. Yve will be safe with us."
She understood Omari's concern as she was also a parent.
If her own son or daughter had been kidnapped, she would be just as desperate to find the culprit.
Sheena patted Yvette's shoulder. "Yve, come with us. It will give your dad some peace of mind."
After dinner, Mavis invited Yvette to her room to watch the sunset.
"Mavis, when are you leaving Gurenchti? If you leave, will you be coming back?"
Yvette's sudden question caught Mavis off guard.
She came to Gurenchti while Nathaniel was away from the company.
If she returned to Froania, would she have another chance to return here?
Mavis was not sure.
Yvette noticed Mavis's expression and could tell it was complicated.
Hence, she swiftly changed the topic.
"Mavis, I noticed you and Ray are very close. How long have you known each other? What kind… of girls does he like?"
As she asked, Yvette blushed slightly, a rare sight.
"Ray? We've known each other for many, many years. Yve, what kind of girl do you think he'd like?"
