At 11 a.m., a familiar-looking Jeep pulled up outside the hotel.
Omari stepped out and immediately went to the receptionist.
"Please get in touch with Ms. Lawson. I need to speak with her."
Recognizing the famous Omari, the receptionist quickly went to relay the message.
In no time, Sheena appeared.
"Mr. Eipstein, I was just about to come see you. I didn't expect you to arrive first."
"Let's talk in a room. This isn't the best place," Omari replied, his expression grim.
He had not slept all night, racking his brain for ways to rescue Yvette.
"Alright, follow me," Sheena said, leading Omari to the room where they had previously discussed their collaboration.
Mavis also joined them.
As soon as they sat down, Omari took out their collaboration contract.
"Ms. Lawson, I regret to inform you that I must decline our collaboration and the endorsement deal. You'll need to find someone else. I need to save Yvette."
Sheena had anticipated this decision.
After all, this was exactly what Giorgio wanted.
Pushing the contract back to him, Sheena shook her head.
"Mr. Eipstein, I understand your decision, but I urge you to reconsider. Yvette is still in Giorgio's hands. If you terminate our contract, there's no guarantee he will release her. He might even use this as leverage to demand more from you. You know Giorgio's nature better than I do. He's known for breaking his word. This is exactly what he wants, but who can say he will honor any agreement?"
This was precisely Omari's hesitation.
Omari had given them time this once, but what about next time?
If they could not rescue Yvette within a few days, their partnership with Omari would end.
"Sheena, I can't reach Ray. He must be…" Mavis trailed off.
Knowing Raymond's nature, he would likely be taking drastic measures to rescue Yvette.
"Don't worry, Mae. I'll handle this. You should go rest," Sheena said, leaving the room.
After all, the partnership with Omari was her responsibility, and she would resolve this issue.
Watching Sheena walking away, Mavis felt uneasy.
Meanwhile, outside Giorgio's lab, Raymond and his men had surrounded the area, determined to rescue Yvette right then and there!
