Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1567

At Svelton General Hospital, Elliot sat by the bedside in the ward as a nurse brought a medical tray.

Inside was alcohol, medical cotton swabs, and other disinfectants for dressing wounds.

Sheena sat nearby, watching without any intention of helping with the dressing.

Elliot observed her expression and felt a twinge of discomfort.

He noticed that she did not seem jealous as she watched the nurse tend to the small scrape on his arm.

Once the minor injury was taken care of, he coaxed Sheena to go for a psychiatric examination.

Half an hour later, the results were in.

"Mr. Jenkins, Mrs. Jenkins has indeed experienced memory loss. She can't remember many things, but I've checked it out, and it's most likely temporary, not severe. Taking her to places she used to be familiar with may help."

Elliot was anxious as he looked at the diagnosis, remaining silent for a long time.

The doctor continued, "Mrs. Jenkins's memory loss probably resulted from an injury. According to Mrs. Snyder, Mrs. Jenkins was unconscious with a high fever for two days. She suffered a blow to the back of her head, and the bruise is still visible, indicating it was quite a serious injury. Nonetheless, there's no need to worry excessively. Her brain CT scan revealed no blood clots or nerve compression in the back of her head. Mrs. Jenkins's memory recovery is just a matter of time."

Setting down the diagnosis, Elliot left the doctor's office without saying a word.

In the VIP room, Sheena sat quietly until Elliot entered.

Then, she eagerly asked, "I've cooperated with your examination. When can we leave the hospital?"

Elliot walked over slowly, crouching by her feet to help her put on her shoes.

"We can leave today."

"Alright. Pack your stuff. Where's Mrs. Snyder? I'll go find her."

Elliot did not respond, quietly helping her with her shoes.

Nathaniel had followed Lionel to the National Investigation Bureau, and he immediately rushed over upon learning Elliot had brought Sheena to the hospital.

After asking the nurses, he found Sheena's room and was standing outside the corridor.

The door to the was not completely shut, leaving a small gap.

Nathaniel, poised to push the door open, paused upon hearing the conversation inside.

Sheena reached out to touch his head and was about to speak when she noticed the slightly ajar door.

A glint from an expensive wristwatch caught her eye, reflecting off the ward's light.

Only Sheena could see that it was Nathaniel from this angle.

She paused in her action and gently pinched Elliot's cheek, studying his features.

"Mr. Jenkins, you're really handsome. Your face fits perfectly with my aesthetics, except for that bad smoking habit."

Elliot immediately raised his head, earnestly saying, "I'll quit, don't worry."

"That's good." Sheena smiled mischievously, feigning playfulness. "I remember yesterday Nathaniel asked me if I had to choose between you and him to be my husband, who would I pick."

Elliot's eyes were no longer red, and his curiosity was piqued.

"Nana, have you changed your mind?"

Sheena nodded. "I've made up my mind. I choose you."
