Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1513

If it were a stranger, no matter how dire the situation, Elliot knew Sheena would likely stop and call the police or an ambulance, but she would not let them into her car.

Unless it was someone she knew, a friend or family member…

Elliot breathed quickly as he examined the enlarged surveillance footage again.

The person in the back seat seemed to be deliberately avoiding the street cameras, only showing half a shoulder.

Moreover, the figure appeared burly, resembling a man.

Who could it be?

Mysteries were piling up.

With Svelton in turmoil, the entire National Investigation Bureau was working around the clock, dealing with numerous urgent matters.

"There are no signs of a struggle in the car, no sharp objects found. It might really be someone Nana knows," Elliot muttered to himself.

Then, he turned to Lance and instructed, "Check with the shops near the bridge. See if any of them have outdoor surveillance. We might catch something useful."

This could be their breakthrough.

"You're right, Mr. Jenkins. I'll get on it right away," Lance said.

He walked toward the door, but he turned back just as he reached for the handle.

"Mr. Jenkins, I know you're worried, but you need to take care of yourself too. It's winter, and this rain is freezing. You're still soaked. We can't afford for you to get sick while looking for Mrs. Jenkins…"

Lance trailed off as he received a cold, sharp glare from Elliot.

He wisely stopped talking.

"Got it. I'm on my way."

Lance closed the office door behind him.

Elliot’s hair was still wet, and his clothes were dripping.

Ignoring his condition, he opened a drawer and took out a pack of cigarettes.

The phone rang for less than two seconds before a gentle female voice informed him that the signal was weak and to try again later.

Sheena would never turn off her phone, which only added to his distress.

It felt worse than if it were switched off.

There were no signs of a struggle in the car…

Someone familiar sat in Sheena's car, and Sheena chose to drive off the cliff in a perfectly fine luxury car.

There was also no blood in the gully…

Nonetheless, the rain and mud might have washed the traces away, taking away any potential evidence.

Elliot dared not imagine what Sheena might have encountered in the car at that moment.

He stared intensely at the stack of surveillance video photos on his desk, suddenly remembering something crucial.
