Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1508

As Nathaniel carried Adora out of the kindergarten, she looked bewildered.

"Um, Uncle Nate, I was playing games with other kids just now. Why do we have to leave school all of a sudden? Did something happen at home?"

Not knowing how to explain, Nathaniel chuckled and passed the blame.

"No, your daddy wanted me to pick you up. You can ask him later."

Adora nibbled her little finger.

She frowned and pointed not far ahead to Elliot, muttering, "But… isn't Daddy right there?"

Nathaniel followed her gaze.

He quickly realized something was off and asked, "I was supposed to pick up Adora. Why are you here too?"

Elliot's face was grim, silently pondering.

"Oh no."

Within a few seconds, his face turned pale, and he turned around and headed for the car without acknowledging Nathaniel.

"What's wrong with Daddy? He looks so scary…" Adora murmured, staring at Elliot's retreating figure.

Nathaniel also observed Elliot, looking serious.

The only person who could make Elliot this nervous was Sheena.

Did something happen on her end?

He quickly carried Adora into the car, fastened her seatbelt in the child's safety seat, and cautioned her, "Adora, sit tight."

Then, he swiftly started the car and followed Elliot's departing vehicle.

Elliot's car sped off, indicating his inner turmoil.

Calculating the distance and time, Sheena's car should have arrived at the kindergarten before Nathaniel and Elliot, but she was not there.

Moreover, his phone calls went unanswered, and she was out of reach!

Just the possibility of something happening to Sheena left Elliot anxious.

He calculated the distance from the Lawson Group to Adora's kindergarten and took the expressway to search for her.

He kept praying for Sheena's safety…

"Send me the exact location of the accident."

"Yes, Mr. Jenkins, please… don't panic. Mrs. Jenkins should be fine."

Elliot could not care less about other matters, pressing down hard on the gas.

The armored vehicle swiftly sped on the highway.

However, he noticed a luxury car trailing behind him.

It was Nathaniel's car.

Before he could call Nathaniel, Nathaniel was already calling him.

He answered the phone immediately, and Nathaniel was the first to speak.

"Elliot, you never panic like this. Did something happen to Nana?"

Next, Elliot heard Adora's tearful voice.

"Did something happen to Mommy? What's wrong? I want to know too!"
