Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1416

In the backseat, Asher and Adora witnessed their usually loving parents arguing for the first time.

Adora hugged Asher tightly, seeking refuge in his embrace, too scared to speak up.

Sheena was even fiercer than Elliot, threatening to break his legs!

The car fell into a sudden silence.

Up front, the couple continued sulking.

After a while, Elliot finally caught on and responded, "So, you admit you felt sorry for Nathaniel?"

Sheena was baffled.

Clearly, she was trying to give him an out, but Elliot's bizarre train of thought was beyond understanding.

"Elliot, has it been too long since we've argued? Are you picking a fight for no reason? Do you want to experience a few days of arguments? I can even throw in a top-tier punishment package."

Elliot's spine stiffened.

When Sheena was genuinely angry, he lost all his bravado.

"Honey…" Elliot softened his tone.

Sheena turned away, facing the window.

It was obvious that she was discontented and did not want to hear more from him.

Elliot drove on, stealing glances at her from time to time.

He could tell Sheena's anger was not calming down, and a storm was brewing.

Nonetheless, considering Asher and Adora were still in the car, he refrained from saying anything that might undermine his fatherly authority and decided to let it go.

The four of them returned to the Jenkins estate in silence.

As soon as the luxury car parked, Sheena decisively opened her door and got out, cradling one child in each arm, and headed straight for E&S Haven without waiting for Elliot.

Elliot was left bewildered and sad.

Sheena did not even let him carry any of their children!

Thanks to his long legs, he caught up quickly.

With a mischievous smirk, Asher poked Sheena's soft shoulder and teased Elliot, "Daddy made Mommy angry! How about letting him sleep in the study tonight?"

Adora cheered, hugging Sheena's neck.

"Yay! Mommy's all ours tonight!"

Elliot observed their naughty expression and raised an eyebrow, looking stern.

Moreover, the children might sleep between him and Sheena again.

The jealousy from a few moments ago was completely forgotten.

All Elliot wanted was to comfort his wife.

"Honey, let me hold one of them. These two little piggies must be heavy," Elliot said, trying to lighten the mood.

Sheena glanced at him coldly, not responding to his attempt at reconciliation.

Both kids held grudges against Elliot, and Sheena did not have to straighten him up.

Sure enough, Adora looked displeased. "Daddy, how could you call us little piggies? We're Mommy's children. Doesn't that mean you're calling Mommy a big piggy?"

Elliot narrowed his eyes and warned, "If you don't speak, no one will think you're a little mute."

Adora persisted, "It's a different time now. We can speak our minds freely! Daddy, you were clearly implying that Mom is a big piggy."

Asher stepped in, ready to make it worse for Elliot.

"Mommy, you're slim and beautiful with a great figure. You're not a big piggy. Daddy needs to be taught a lesson."

Elliot glanced at the two troublemakers.

Finally, he admitted defeat and spoke through gritted teeth, "I'm a piggy too. We're all a family of piggies!"
