Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1406

Zahra slowly approached Sadie and whispered, "He came in a Bentley, and there were many parents outside the kindergarten admiring his car. He's surely loaded. I don't think he's bluffing."

Sadie immediately fell silent.

A Bentley…

She had never seen one and knew she could not afford to mess with someone who drove such a luxurious car.

She chuckled nervously, trying to ease the tension.

"Sir, why so serious? Kids will be kids. You don't have to stoop to their level. I'll make sure to educate Brock properly and teach him not to speak out of turn or insult others just because they're sick. Let's just leave it at that. Okay?"

Nathaniel raised an eyebrow, his tone icy.

"Originally, I was willing to let the matter slide, but you kept nagging, wasting my time. I won't be pleased if this isn't solved in a manner I'm satisfied with."

Sadie took a deep breath, her expression somewhat stiff.

"So, how do you want to resolve this?"

Nathaniel replied calmly, "I'll give you two choices. If you insist on having your way, you and your husband won't have a peaceful life in Svelton anymore. On the other hand, you can have Brock withdraw from the school. Starting tomorrow, don't show up here again, especially not in front of me and Adora."

He lazily took out a cigarette pack.

As he was about to open it, Adora stopped him.

She looked disgusted, her other hand fanning in front of her nose.

"Uncle Nate, don't smoke. It stinks!"

Nathaniel softened his gaze. "Alright, no smoking."

He glanced at Sadie and added, "Mrs. Macias, don't say I'm heartless. The choice is yours to make."

Sadie was completely bewildered.

Brock clung to her leg, shaking it as he screamed, "Mom, don't worry. He's just trying to scare us. Adora hit me, and Dad told me that whoever strikes first is at fault!"

After all, children at their age were rather simple-minded.

Nathaniel remained expressionless, sounding generous as he said, "Alright. Go ahead and handle the paperwork."

"Y-Yes. Of course."

Brock, still crying, was dragged away.

The nurse's office was finally quiet.

Adora had not been seriously injured and was ready to leave.

Kylie held Adora's hand and personally escorted her and Nathaniel out of the kindergarten.

Before leaving, Kylie crouched and asked Adora in a hushed voice, "Adora, I heard you calling this gentleman Uncle Nate. Is he married?"

Adora shook her head, replying honestly, "Nope, Uncle Nate's been single all his life!"

Nathaniel was left speechless by her comment.

Kylie chuckled, seizing the opportunity to ask, "So, Adora, what do you think of me? Would you like me to be your aunt?"
