Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1391

Arriving at the Jenkins estate, Nathaniel made his way through winding alleys until he reached the doorstep of E&S Haven.

From across the garden, faint laughter echoed inside the mansion, likely Adora's.

Nathaniel's gaze instantly softened at the thought of Adora, that little sweetheart, and he patiently waited at the door to greet her.

Ten minutes later, Sheena and Elliot emerged, each leading one of the toddlers.

Spotting Nathaniel, Adora dashed over and reached out for a hug.

"Uncle Nate!"

Nathaniel crouched down, his long arms sweeping her into a secure embrace.

Then, he turned to Sheena and Elliot, saying, "Nana, Elliot, Adora is almost late for kindergarten. We'll get going first."

"Okay," Sheena replied.

Elliot nodded slightly.

Meanwhile, Asher pouted, staring discontentedly at Nathaniel and Adora playing happily.

Observing his demeanor, Sheena asked, "Asher, do you want to go to kindergarten too?"

Asher shook his head. "I'm still sick, and the IV drip takes too much time. I can't go to kindergarten like Adora."

He continued proudly, "Plus, I can't get along with them because I'm already solving middle school-level math problems while they're still learning basic addition and subtraction. We don't have anything in common."

Sheena immediately understood and said, "So, you don't like your godfather and don't want to see him?"

Asher huffed. "He's Adora's godfather, not mine. I've never accepted him. Yes, I don't want to see him. He comes to take Adora away every day, and it's annoying."

Elliot bent slightly, scooping up Asher and cradling him in his arms.

As Asher had been bedridden for a long time, he rarely experienced Elliot's hugs, so he cherished this moment, nestling his head against Elliot's broad shoulder.

Sheena lovingly stroked Asher's head.

"Daddy, I'm glad you won Mommy's heart back then. If it were that Nathaniel… Hmph! I'd break off our father-son relationship!"

The girl walked away, and the boy hurried to catch up, wrapping his arms around her from behind in a loving embrace.

Adora was suddenly reminded of Nathaniel and Mavis.

"Uncle Nate, how was your date with Mae yesterday? Did you have fun?"

She giggled, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

"The date went well, and Mae had a great time too."

Nathaniel paused, then asked, "Would you really like Mae as your godmother?"

"Of course!" Adora clapped her hands. "Mae saved me, and she's always been nice to me. Thank goodness it's not Grandma Cassie! She's old, ugly, and mean. Uncle Nate, you definitely shouldn't like her."

Nathaniel smiled warmly, one hand on the wheel while the other ruffled her hair.

"I'll like everything you like, and I'll dislike everything you dislike."
