Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1356

The knocking on the door was much louder than Asher's.

Elliot, who was in a half-asleep state, instinctively furrowed his brow.

With Asher already inside the room, it was not hard for him to guess who was knocking on the door.

He sighed and silently turned on the bedside lamp, getting up to open the door.

As soon as the door opened, Adora immediately threw herself onto Elliot, wrapping her arms around his legs.

"Daddy, I had a nightmare, and I don't feel so well."

Elliot immediately became concerned, crouching to check her temperature by gently touching her forehead.

"Your temperature is normal, Adora. Where does it hurt?"

While Adora clung to him, she glanced at the bed in the room.

"Asher's really not in his room! I also want to sleep with you and Mommy!"

Elliot's expression darkened slightly.

He knew that Adora's claim of not feeling well was just an excuse. She simply wanted to see if Asher was in the room, and if he were, she would join them in bed.

"Did I do something wrong in my past life, and the Gods sent you two to punish me?"

Elliot chuckled, shaking his head as he looked at Adora affectionately.

Adora giggled, playing the role of a sweet and innocent child.

"No, Daddy! I'm the apple of your eye, and I'm here to bring you joy!"

Elliot did not believe her one bit.

He would already be grateful if Adora stopped pulling tricks on him.

Meanwhile, Sheena was still in bed.

Her long, curly hair was partially draped over her right shoulder, adding a touch of allure to her already delicate features.

She lazily propped herself up, comforting Asher while glancing toward the door.

"Adora holds grudges like nobody's business. Watch out. She'll get you when you least expect it."

With a hint of resentment in his eyes, Elliot grumbled, "Adora learned that from you, you know."

Sheena stifled a laugh and waved him over. "Alright, stop sulking. It's just for a few days. I'll make it up to you after that."

Elliot smirked in satisfaction at Sheena's words.

A few minutes later, Adora sprinted downstairs, clutching her pillow.

When she reached Sheena and Elliot's room, she was already panting.

Still standing by the door, Elliot teased her, "No one is chasing you, Adora. Why the rush?"

Adora huffed arrogantly and said, "I'm not talking to you, Daddy. You're a meanie."

Ignoring Elliot, she climbed back onto the bed and snuggled up to Sheena.

Elliot watched his two children with amusement and affection, finding Adora's little tantrums endearing.
