Under the Heiress' Facade novel Chapter 912

Such nonsense! Bernard suspected that everything Hera told Dylan and Dora was made up.

"Bernard, you're not allowed to hurt my children!" At that moment, Hera rushed over. She had seen Bernard standing at the entrance to the western wing while talking to Dylan and Dora. It was as if he were an evil magician, ready to strike the two defenseless children.

Hera's heart had been racing throughout the journey home. She tensed instantly at the sight before her.

"Mommy!" Dora flew toward Hera once she spotted her.

Hera stooped down to carry Dora in her arms. After checking her over for any injuries, Hera glanced at Dylan. Seeing that he was fine, she sighed in relief.

Bernard turned back to look at Hera icily. "You're finally back!"

Realizing that he wanted to have a word with her, Hera set Dora down and said to Dylan, "Dyl, take Dora outside to play. I have something to discuss with him."

Dora picked up on the tension between Hera and Bernard, so she refused to leave. "No, I want to stay back and protect you, Mommy. If Daddy hits you, I'll beat him up so hard that his teeth will start flying."

The vein on Bernard's forehead began to throb. When had he ever hit Hera before? What sort of lies was Hera feeding to Dylan and Dora every day?

"Be good and do as I say." Hera patted Dora's head before turning to speak to Tiffany, who had followed behind her.

"Take them to the children's playground for a walk before getting them something to eat afterward."

Tiffany nodded. After picking up Dora in her arms, she led Dylan out as well.

Hera walked into the living room, followed by Bernard. He gestured to the paternity test report on the table with his chin. "Aren't you going to explain yourself?"

Hera was at a loss for what to do when she learned from Johnson and Theo that Bernard had the paternity test results. After all, she had not planned on telling him so soon.

"If you hurt me again, I won't go easy on you!" A silver needle appeared between Hera's fingertips.

Bernard looked at the silver needle and was impressed with her speed. She was so fast that he hadn't noticed anything.

Although she wasn't a large threat to him, he still released her with a snort. "Not bad, not bad! So, you were playing hard to get before. What's your game now? You've put in so much effort to get close to me. Obviously, you're coveting the Killian family's wealth!"

Upon hearing him make such blatant assumptions, she silently massaged her temples.

He was no longer the man she fell in love with back then. Felix must have injured Bernard's nerves while operating on him.

Seeing how she hadn't said a word, Bernard sneered, "Why aren't you saying anything? Do you have nothing to say since I've exposed your true colors?"

Hera had resigned herself to fate.
