Turning Of The Tide (Natalie and Trevon) novel Chapter 605

A few days later.

The third floor of Grand Manor was undergoing a large-scale renovation. Large trucks were parked at the entrance of the hotel. People were unloading various sports equipment.

The commotion was loud. It was ostentatious. It caught the attention of many passers-by. A curious woman asked the receptionist, "Why does your hotel need so much sports equipment? Are you planning to install it in every room?"

The receptionist put on a professional smile. "No, it's just that our boss plans to reform the third floor into a gym. There won't be any customers staying on the third floor in the future."

When the woman heard about that, she thought it was for the hotel guests. Although the luxurious rooms had each been equipped with a small gym, the equipment was limited. Since the third level was to be reformed into a gym, she could imagine how big the gym would be.

The woman was in a good mood. She did not expect the receptionist to pour cold water on her. "The new gym is not for guests. Our boss specially built it for his daughters."

The woman was speechless. She never expected that someone would rather have the whole level for his personal use.

The gym had been undergoing renovations for some time. When the twins asked Trevon to register them for martial arts classes, Trevon had already formed that idea.

In the beginning, Trevon had planned to teach his daughters personally. Besides, Natalie was another option. She could teach them. However, Sophia and Olivia had rejected the idea. They said that their parents would show mercy. They would not be able to master martial arts.

Even Natalie agreed with the girls. She said the girls would probably learn nothing if Trevon taught them.

Trevon doted on his daughters. He was worried about them sharing a gym with strangers. What if they met people who tried to hit on them? He had even considered such a possibility in the future. He was not short of money. That was why he decided to reform the third floor of Grand Manor into a unique gym. He thought his daughters could rest in their rooms after they worked out.

The shareholders, Natalie and Ava, had also agreed to his proposal. After all, they were Grand Manor's bosses. Ava and Frank thought that it was feasible. The agreement was unanimous.

Frank had agreed readily. He had considered the possibility that he might also have two daughters. He felt that Trevon's method was wise. They could protect their daughters. Grand Manor belonged to them. There was no need to worry about the girls' security.

The three men upstairs checked out the different equipment. Hackett raised the dumbbell. He cried out as he raised it. He used all his strength. "Oh my god, are you guys crazy? Can children play with this?"

Trevon took the dumbbell from Hackett's hand. He raised it within seconds. He said smugly, "It's too light."

Hackett felt that he was being looked down upon. He turned around and patrolled the various designated areas on the third floor. He walked past them one by one.

Trevon did not just build a boxing gym for his daughters to practice martial arts. He also ensured the gym had the equipment that gyms should have. It also featured a shooting range, fencing, rock climbing, and a dance studio. Frank suspected Trevon might even install a basketball court if the building were not a hotel.

Two rooms were left empty. Trevon had considered they might need the space to add additional facilities that would be required in the future.

Hackett went to the dance studio. It also functioned as a piano room. He hit the piano keys. A few notes floated in the air. "Trevon, do you think your two children need to dance?"

Trevon found those words unpleasant to his ears. They sounded like Hackett was looking down on his daughters. Frank was leisurely walking on the treadmill. "He prepared it for his future daughter-in-law."

For a moment, Hackett did not react. "Isn't it too early? Do you already know who your future daughter-in-law is? What if she doesn't know how to play the piano?"

The corners of Trevon's mouth twitched with interest. "I'm probably sure. She knows how to play the piano. She's been learning recently."

Frank was still on the treadmill. There was a sly smile on his face. Hackett was slow to figure out whom Trevon had in mind. He almost wanted to give Hackett a hint.

Hackett started guessing. His face darkened when his daughter came to mind. Ruby had just started learning piano. He could not believe Trevon was already thinking of her as his future daughter-in-law. He said, "I can't believe you've set your eyes on my daughter."

Frank replied indifferently, "Your wife has also set her eyes on his son."

Trevon smiled. He did not say anything. It infuriated Hackett. Frank's words were irrefutable. Sherri had been constantly talking about Trevon's son at home.

After locking the door of the gym, Trevon distributed the keys. It seemed like he was distributing candies to kids. Each of them had one. He even reminded them, "I only have five. You can duplicate the key yourself."

Hackett stuffed the key in his pocket. He silently calculated the number of keys that needed to be duplicated. "Are you guys going home?"

Frank replied, "I'm going to the fruit store." He was going to buy some fruit for the ladies at home.

Hackett replied, "Let's go together. I'll buy some for my daughter too. Trevon?"

Trevon shook his head before leaving to fetch his car.

Hackett shrugged his shoulders. He was indifferent. He replied, "We could have hung out together. What a wet blanket."

Harper looked up innocently. "A robot vacuum."

Grace was dumbfounded.

Frank took a small red tomato and stuffed it into Harper's mouth. He complained, "Why did your mother have to let you play with the robot vacuum? What kind of idea is that? Think of another toy. A robot vacuum is not for playing."

His uncle said that he could not buy him a robot vacuum. Harper was in a dilemma. He could not think of anything more fun than a robot vacuum. It could rotate and do housework while he played with it.

Frank had also bought toys for his nephew before. However, he had never seen his nephew play with them. He always saw Harper playing with the robot vacuum at home. Frank looked at Harper and said, "Alright, don't think about it. Eat the tomatoes. I'll look around and buy toys similar to a robot vacuum."

The last sentence was directed at Grace.

Grace nodded. "That's right. We have to stop him from playing with the robot vacuum."

Frank returned with a lot of toys in his hands. Grace walked over to take them. "Why did you buy so many?"

Frank nodded and replied, "I wasn't sure which he would like best. That was why I bought all these."

Frank had bought many types of toys. There was a spinning top, a gun, a tank, and a ship. He thought that Harper could let it float on the water while he bathed in the bathtub.

He placed everything on the ground. He let Harper choose. Harper walked around the toys and pointed with his little finger. "This."

"You like stuff that rotates." Harper had pointed at a spinning top. Frank helped to unwrap it. He demonstrated how to play with the spinning top in the middle of the living room. He patiently directed Harper. When Harper got the hang of it, Frank stood up.

Grace was standing at the side. She had been looking at their interaction. She could visualize Frank playing with his grandson in the future. It would be a warm and beautiful scene.

Harper used his little hands to pull the rope before pressing. The top fell off and spun around in the living room. The little guy danced happily as he shouted, "Go on, go on."

Seeing that he was having fun, Frank placed the other toys in the corner. He looked at Grace and said, "I'll see if Ava is awake."

Grace nodded and signaled for him to head upstairs.
