Too Late, Mr. Cooper: Your Bride Ran with Your Baby novel Chapter 442

He remained calm, scanning his surroundings. He was on a winding mountain highway, the road wide and flat, but with no cover whatsoever. There was nowhere to hide.

Linton's black Maybach was already hugging the cliffside. Damian Cooper had been intentionally forcing him toward the edge from the very beginning.

A dull thud echoed.

The white sedan suddenly rammed into Linton's car with vicious force, sending it into a skid, nearly knocking it straight off the cliff.

At the same time, a relentless hail of bullets flew toward Linton.

Damian Cooper had clearly come prepared. This insane act of revenge against his own son, orchestrated in his final moments, had obviously been planned for a long time.

Under the two-pronged attack, Linton quickly found himself struggling to keep up.

His car was forced to the edge of the cliff several times, nearly plunging over. The metal frame was pockmarked with bullet holes, the windows and tires were blown out, and black smoke was beginning to pour from the chassis. It looked like it could explode at any second.

Linton's face hardened, his jaw clenched. A sharp, ruthless glint flashed in his deep eyes. After blindly typing the last line of his message, he lowered his gaze, a bitter, reluctant smile touching his lips. Then, without any hesitation, he decisively hit send.

A chime sounded from the phone, confirming the message had been sent.

Linton's dark eyes softened slightly, and he seemed to let out a quiet sigh of relief. A faint, resigned smile appeared on his handsome, sharp features.

The next second, his expression turned cold. With no more hesitation or lingering reluctance, he pulled a gun from his coat.

"Did you really think I came completely unprepared?" he said, his voice icy.

Damian Cooper froze for a split second, not having time to react—

Three shots rang out in quick succession.

With a grim face and a decisive hand, Linton fired three precise shots, hitting Damian in the head, throat, and heart.

He left Damian no possibility of survival, ensuring he could never threaten Liliana and their baby.

"Ugh..."

Damian winced in pain. He didn't die instantly. In the final moments of his life, his throat filled with blood, rendering him speechless. But his vicious, hateful eyes held a look of cold mockery.
