Liliana froze.
The baby was only three months old. She couldn't talk yet, only make a few vague sounds.
But the syllables Amelia had just babbled sounded a lot like… Dada?
Liliana lowered her gaze, her eyes flickering as a small smile played on her lips.
Just a coincidence.
No one had taught her to say Dada.
How could she?

When Gabriel Hart returned, he saw Linton walking out.
He frowned. "It's almost lunchtime. You're heading out now?"
Linton's face was grim, and his clear voice was hoarse. "Yeah."
"Gabriel, thank you for everything. I'm leaving the Hart estate."
Gabriel Hart was taken aback.
He glanced at Linton and said coldly, "Did you and Liliana fight again?"
Linton forced a bitter smile. "I wouldn't dare."
"I just don't want to be an eyesore for her."
Gabriel understood.
His eyes glinted, his expression impassive.
So his precious little sister had been taking her frustrations out on Linton.
…Fine.
Gabriel didn't dwell on it. He simply reminded him, "Amelia's party is in a week. Make sure you come back for it."
