Time-Limited Love: A Contract Expired, Not Renewed novel Chapter 124

“You blocked me on Instagram.”

His voice, roughened by alcohol, carried a hint of wounded indignation.

Zinnia froze for a second.

She frowned at him. “You stormed over here in the middle of the night just to say that?”

“Why not?” Landon’s voice climbed a notch, unable to hide his frustration.

To him, her question was clearly an attempt to sidestep the issue.

“Zinnia, I’m your husband. How could you block me?”

Her brows knitted even tighter. It dawned on her that Landon might be drunk. Only someone deep in their cups could be so childish—showing up just to grill her about being blocked on Instagram.

“I just post too much. I didn’t want to clutter up your feed,” Zinnia offered, tossing out the first excuse she could think of.

But inwardly, she wondered: Why on earth was Landon checking her Instagram at this hour anyway?

He let out a short, bitter laugh.

His hand clamped around her wrist, his grip tightening as anger simmered closer to the surface.

Zinnia winced at the pain, her frown deepening.

“Landon…”

“So, are you worried about disturbing me, or are you just afraid I’ll find out you’ve been keeping a little pet on the side?”

The words caught in Zinnia’s throat. She stared at him, shock flickering across her face.

“You… you know?” she finally managed.

A sharp ache stabbed through Landon’s chest. She—she actually admitted it. She didn’t even bother to make up a lie.
