Thorns Grow After Betrayal (Celeste and Chester) novel Chapter 345

If he was found out, all his efforts would be for nothing!

Raymond’s eyes instantly turned red, and he tugged on Celestine’s sleeve. “No, Mom, please. I don’t want to go to the hospital. I’m scared of doctors. I’m not sick, I’m just a little tired. Please don’t listen to him, okay?”

Celestine glanced back at him. “Thank you, Gideon. I’ll contact you if I need to.”

With that, she handed the screw to Gideon.

Gideon nodded.

Celestine took the still-crying Raymond to the guest room.

Besides, his grandfather had said that right now, he was the only one who could get his parents back together.

If another man snatched his mother away while his father was in a coma, it would be a stain on his life and on the entire Fordham family.

And besides, he really did miss his mom.

He wasn't lying about that part.

Celestine caught the fleeting look of panic that crossed Raymond’s face after he answered.
