Chapter 277

*The glanced down instinctively. A new misssage had appeared on the lock strOPTY.

usdeline (Jeast, does this essential oil really prevent stretch marks?)

A product link was attached below.

For a moment, Sana froze. Then the implication of that message sank in. Her face flushed, art fury surged through her like a tidal wale.

In an instant, she sprang to her feet, the legs of her chair scraping loudly against the floor with a sharp bang

Heads turned in unison. Everyone in the room was now staring at her.

Only then did she remember where she was, Clutching her stomach, she blurted out, Sorry, Imy stomach really hurts. I need the bathroom

Without another word, she rushed out, phone in hand.

Jessica saw right through her excuse but said nothing. Instead, she seamlessly redirected the conversation, pulling everyone’s focus back to the agenda at hand.

The meeting soon continued without interruption.

Outside the conference room, Sana stood tremblin

with

rage, gripping the phone so tightly her knuckles turned white. Her eyes were red with unshed

tears.

That bitch. That absolute bitch!she seethed in her mind. What kind of person does something like this? Madeline, you disgustingGod, I’m gonna lose

it!

By the time Jessica wrapped up the meeting and stepped out, Sana was nowhere to be seen. Assuming she truly wasn’t feeling well, Jessica made a mental note to check on her later. But upon returning to their department, she was met with an unexpected question.

Jessi, is Madeline pregnant?!

Jessica paused. Sana’s eyes were red, furious, and full of disbelief. There was no use pretending now. How did you find out?she asked after a beat.

Don’t dodge the question. Just tell me. Is it true or not?Sana pressed, her voice shaking.

Jessica’s gaze dropped to the phone in Sana’s hand. Realization dawned, and her brows furrowed. What did she send this time?

That only added fuel to the fire. Sana practically exploded. So she’s done this before? Jessi, how long has she been harassing you?

Jessica’s expression remained indifferent, her voice even. It hasn’t been long. Just a few days. It hasn’t really affected me. You don’t need to get so upset.

She reached out to retrieve her phone, silently berating herself.

Had she known Madeline would send such a message at that exact moment, she never would’ve let Sana keep the phone.

But Sana took a step back, pulling the phone out of reach and shouting, What do you mean it hasn’t affected you? She’s mocking you, harassing you, and you’re just brushing it off?

Jessi, how can you pretend you’re okay? Don’t you feel anything at all? What the hell is going on in your head?

She couldn’t comprehend it. Jessica had endured so much, and yet she still insisted on keeping everything bottled up.

If she hadn’t seen the message by accident, how much longer would Jessica have kept this from her?
