Madeline carried Jacob and walked like a queen, casting proud glances at those around.

“Mr. Atkinson, Jake had a video call with Jessica just now,” Madeline said as she entered with Jacob in her arms.

There were employees walking in the corridor. They saw Madeline carrying the sleeping Jacob, and Brian was clearing the way and pressing the elevator button in front. They were all shocked.

Madeline didn’t look sideways, but she saw the shock of those employees out of the corner of her eye. She tried hard not to show her joy and took the elevator with Brian, looking like a family of three.

After sending Jacob back to Atkinson Villa, Brian stared at him by the bed for a while.

During the days when Jessica was away, Jacob’s face had become thinner.

“Sylvie, please take care of Jake,” Brian said to Sylvie at the door after leaving the room.

When Jessica was with him before, she was in charge of all matters related to Brian and Jacob.

Sylvie was hired by Jessica, so Brian trusted her.
