The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 403

A stinging pain prickled across her cheek, spreading in a hot, relentless wave.

Bianca’s face was a mask of cold fury. She clutched her cheek, eyes wide in utter disbelief.

Alexander’s expression didn’t flicker. He simply knit his brows and fixed his gaze on Danielle.

“You dare hit me?” Bianca raised her hand, ready to strike back.

Jason quickly stepped between them, pulling Danielle behind him.

“Ma’am, this is a hospital. I must ask you not to cause a scene,” Jason said firmly.

“A scene? Me?” Bianca’s eyes narrowed icily. “Danielle, come out here. So you’ve found yourself a new man to stand up for you, huh?”

She turned to Jason, voice dripping with scorn. “Doctor, don’t be fooled by her. Danielle isn’t as innocent as she looks. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

Danielle might act proper in public, but everyone in the Davidson family knew the truth. She was lazy, uneducated, lacking in every quality that mattered. She’d schemed her way into marriage with Bianca’s son, and even now, she couldn’t behave—still out here chasing after other men.

Danielle stepped forward, moving past Jason. She didn’t bother looking at Bianca.

Her eyes locked on Alexander. “Alexander, sort out your own family mess. I’m not going to keep covering for you forever.”

With that, she turned and strode away, not waiting for a reply.

“Don’t you dare walk away! You slapped me—you can’t just leave. I want an explanation, now!” Bianca shouted after her.

Danielle glanced back, her voice icy. “An explanation? For what? What exactly do you think I’ve done wrong?”

Her gaze flicked to Alexander. “Or do you want me to explain everything to your mother?”

She could keep their divorce a secret, but that didn’t mean she had to keep swallowing insults from the Davidsons forever.

After Bianca left, she was still fuming, her chest tight with anger.

“What secret was she talking about? Does she have something on you?” Bianca demanded, glaring at Alexander. He remained utterly calm, showing not the slightest hint of emotion.

The more she looked at his expressionless face, the angrier she became. “I’m your mother! You just stood there and let her hit me?”

“You’re not even going to hold her accountable? Has she got some hold over the company now?”

Alexander’s voice was quiet. “You provoked her first.”

“And who was I doing it for?” Bianca snapped, nearly choking with rage. “I was standing up for you! She’s making a fool out of you, and you think I’m the one in the wrong?”
