The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 1171

The call connected almost instantly, and a man’s deep, steady voice came through the receiver.

“Hello? What’s wrong?”

The moment she heard Alexander’s voice, Danielle’s heart gave a violent tremor. She didn’t know when it had started, but his line was always open, always answered on the first ring.

Danielle took a deep breath and gave him the address. “Alexander, can you come over?” she asked, her voice soft and laced with the smell of alcohol.

“Stay right there. I’m on my way,” Alexander said immediately. “Are you hurt? What did they do to you?”

“I’m not hurt, but they won’t leave us alone. Kirsten is completely drunk…”

“Don’t be afraid. I’ll be there in ten minutes. Don’t start anything with them before I arrive.” Alexander’s voice remained steady, carrying a power that instantly calmed her. “Keep the phone on. Don’t hang up.”

“Okay,” Danielle whispered, clutching the phone tightly to her ear.

The man beside her saw her calling for help, and his expression turned uglier. “Calling for backup is useless!” he snarled. “Neither of you is leaving tonight!”

As he spoke, one of the men reached out to snatch the phone from Danielle’s hand. She instinctively recoiled. “My friend is on his way.”

“A friend? I’d like to see who has the nerve to interfere with my business!” the leader scoffed, reaching to grab Danielle’s arm.

Just as his fingers were about to graze her cheek, a flurry of urgent footsteps echoed from the bar’s entrance, followed by a man’s ice-cold command: “Stop!”

Everyone turned to see Alexander striding in, flanked by several bodyguards in black suits. An intense, low pressure radiated from him, his face dark enough to drip water and his gaze sharp as a blade. The music in the bar had somehow died down, and a hush fell over the room as all eyes fixed on the newcomers.

Alexander’s presence was so powerful that just by standing there, he exuded an inexplicable sense of oppression. The men who had been so arrogant moments ago went pale and subconsciously took a few steps back.

Alexander walked swiftly to Danielle and Kirsten’s side and crouched down, carefully helping Danielle to her feet. He then glanced at the motionless Kirsten on the floor, his brow tightening as he instructed his bodyguards, “Help Ms. Delaney up and get her to a hospital for a check-up.”

“Yes, sir.” A bodyguard immediately stepped forward, gently lifting Kirsten, careful to avoid any injured areas.
