The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 1042

“In this email, point three clearly states that the interface parameters require hourly real-time calibration, complete with the formula and test cases. I even marked it in bold red.”

She scrolled the mouse, bringing up the test logs from the attachments. “These are my test records from the three days before the handover. The parameters from every calibration are archived. If you had read the document, there’s no way you wouldn’t have known.”

The text and data on the screen were indisputable. Lorie’s face went pale. She clutched at her clothes, her voice weakening. “I… I haven’t been well lately. I’ve had trouble sleeping since I lost the baby. I must have missed it…”

“Did you miss it, or did you not read it at all?” Danielle looked up at her, her tone calm but sharp. “This is a major project handover. Since you accepted the responsibility, you should have acted professionally. I won’t take the blame for something I didn’t do.”

Lorie’s tears finally fell. “I didn’t mean for this to happen… But the problem is already here. Do you really have to keep fixating on who’s responsible?”

Her fragile act prompted a few of the more soft-hearted engineers to speak up. “Chief Engineer Crawford, Miss Gaylord didn’t do it on purpose. The most important thing now is to solve the problem.”

Danielle ignored them and her fingers flew across the keyboard as she pulled up the system backend. “Talk is useless now. Let's fix the bug. Open up the real-time data port from Cole’s side. I’ll rewrite the compatibility script.”

Her focus instantly quieted the room. All eyes were on the screen, watching her methodically troubleshoot errors and write code. The frantic atmosphere slowly began to stabilize.

Half an hour later, a green notification box indicating a successful connection popped up on the screen, and a collective sigh of relief filled the room.
