Jessica was going to see Wesley more, not less. ‘But I haven’t done anything lately. Or is it just my presence that bothers her so much? Brian wondered.

The more Brian thought about it, the more stuck he felt. He couldn’t focus on the files, so he made up a quick excuse to leave work early again. He drove to see Wesley, wanting to ask about Jessica.
