The Villainess Needs a Hug (Ivy Windsor) novel Chapter 1032

Katrina frowned, staring at him in bewilderment.

How did this man switch from having a deeply serious conversation to... having his mind in the gutter in a split second?

Reading her expression, Naylor immediately understood. He let out a low laugh as he kissed her, his voice dropping into a husky, seductive register. "You didn't miss me?"

"..." Katrina found herself entirely unable to answer.

For the past few nights, her dreams had been flooded with explicit images of him.

Saying she didn't miss him would be the biggest lie of the century.

Naylor was a master at reading women. Just one glance at her eyes told him everything he needed to know. His smile turned dangerously predatory as his lips brushed softly against her ear. "You want it too, don't you..."

"I do not!" Katrina shot back stubbornly.

The man didn't believe a single word.

A long, breathless kiss seemed to drain all the strength from Katrina's body. Her legs turned to jelly, and with a wicked smirk, Naylor swept her into his arms and carried her into the bedroom...

Everything was falling perfectly into place, but just as Naylor was about to have his way with her, a sudden surge of jealousy hit Katrina. She pressed her hands firmly against his chest, holding him back.

"Now what?"

"Confess first. Did you hook up with anyone after we broke up?"

Given his legendary playboy history, Katrina was convinced that a few months was more than enough time for him to cycle through at least two new ex-girlfriends.

Naylor let out a frustrated laugh. "We've been entangled this entire time, haven't we? I was showing up at your door every few days. Where would I even find the time to date someone new? Do you think I'm some kind of player who just juggles women for sport?"

Katrina bit her lip, blushing as she playfully accused him. "What if you are? You were constantly traveling for business..."

"I wasn't! I spent every single day trying to figure out how to win you back. I was so mad at you I could hardly think straight. I didn't have the energy for anyone else."

When he said he was mad, he really meant it. He practically ground his teeth just remembering it.

Before she could say another word, Naylor sealed her lips with a demanding kiss.

It was completely ruining the mood. Asking him all these random questions right now meant she had zero trust in him.

He was going to have to punish her thoroughly for that tonight!

It was a night of unbridled passion.

The next day, Katrina slept well past dawn.

Naylor wanted to stay in bed, too, but a sudden crisis at the company prompted an early call from his assistant.

He answered with clear irritation. After hanging up, he looked back at the woman still deeply asleep in his bed, frowning in absolute reluctance.

He really, really didn't want to go to work...

Walking back to the bedside, he pressed a tender kiss to Katrina's cheek and gently woke her.

"Mmm..." Katrina was far too exhausted to even pry her eyes open. She mumbled something incomprehensible, rolled over, and went right back to sleep.

Naylor leaned in close to her ear. "I have to handle something at the office. I'll come back and pick you up at noon. We'll go to the hospital to see aunt and talk to her about the wedding, okay?"

Katrina remained silent. Her brain was completely foggy and processing at a snail's pace.

A few seconds later, her eyes snapped open. She furrowed her brow and turned to him. "Wait, what? A wedding?"
