The Vengeful Son-in-law novel Chapter 398

Before Coen could say anything, a boy next to him immediately shouted, "How dare you address Mr. Hall without an honorific title!"

Coen waved his hand, leaned back comfortably in the chair behind him, and looked at Tom with a half-smile. "Why, you want to make friends with Mr. Hall too?"

His current posture was particularly arrogant, and it seemed that knowing Wade was something worth bragging about.

Tom smiled and said, "Yes, is there a problem?"

Coen suddenly burst into laughter and said, "Of course. The problem is serious. You should take a fucking look at yourself. Are you qualified to make friends with Mr. Hall? Haha!"

When the others heard Coen's words, they laughed at him wantonly. In their eyes, Tom was an embarrassed clown.

Isabella couldn't stand it any longer. Tom was obviously a big shot. Why was he ridiculed by these young rich men? Were they out of their mind?

Then, Coen began to brag about how good his relationship with Wade was, how awesome Wade was, and how difficult it was to be his friend, which made others admire him more.

Tom had a rough idea. Now Wade was moving into top gear, and his fame was even greater than before. May had given him all these, so it was obvious how powerful this May was.

Seeing that how indifferent Tom was when he was ridiculed, Isabella regretted asking Tom here with her, which made her a disgrace. Unconsciously, she kept some distance from Tom.

Just then, a few people came over from the opposite and they were surprised to see Isabella here.

"Isabella, aren't you at school? Why are you here?"

"Dad, mom?"

It was Myles and Caroline.

Isabella stood up, greeted them and said, "I came with my classmates. Why are you here too?"

Myles said, "I was invited by Mr. Hall. In fact, your grandfather is here too."

Hearing that Hawthorne was here, Isabella was even more surprised. She could assume that Mr. Hall's was really someone powerful!

"Where's grandpa? I'll go to be with you." Isabella said.

The others also began to greet Myles and Caroline, and Coen was especially flattering and enthusiastic. Now that he recognized Myles and knew that Isabella was Myles's daughter, his passion for Isabella turned to be stronger.

He knew how capable the Paynes in G State was. If he could get Isabella, he would be successful overnight. There was no reason for him not to try hard.

At this moment, Myles noticed Tom, frowned slightly, and said to Isabella, "Is this your classmate?"

As Tom turned his back to Myles, Myles did not recognize him.

Isabella said, "Dad, he's Tom."

"What?" Myles was stunned.

When Coen saw this, the corner of his mouth rose and a sneer appeared. Tom was really an idiot. He didn't try to project a positive image in front of Isabella's parents. How could such trash beat him?

The noise attracted the attention of the people around. Soon, they recognized Tom and changed their expressions.

"Isn't this Tom?"

"Oh My God, am I dreaming? It's Wade's birthday today. How dare he come here?"

"Oh My Dear Lord, it's indeed Tom... Who are these kids? How dare they yell at Tom? Are they going to die?"

"Sally is this your son. How dare he offend Tom?"

The middle-aged man looked over and his face immediately changed. He began to panic and ran over quickly.

He had met Tom before. Now, Coen, this bastard, dared to yell at Tom and threaten Tom. He was looking for his death! Coen's father was so scared. He immediately ran over to stop his son, ignoring his status.

"Dad, you are coming just in time. This guy dares to compete..."

Coen was very happy to see Maximilian here. Now that his father was here, wasn't Tom going to be a dead man? But before he could finish his sentence, his father, Maximilian, slapped him hard across the face. "Bastard! How dare you to be rude to Mr. Howard?"

Then, Maximilian immediately bowed and apologized to Tom. "Mr. Howard, please forgive me. My son was so stupid. I beg for your mercy, Mr. Howard."

Maximilian's fat body bowed low and begged Tom for mercy. Big drops of sweat dripped down his forehead, and he was especially scared.

Coen was originally very angry, but when he saw Maximilian's humble and frightened look, he was immediately stunned and realized that he had caused big trouble.
