Chapter 5304
Kora glared coldly after hearing Harvey York’s words.
She squinted while sizing up Harvey with her narrow eyes before scoffing.
“Scared?
“I’ve never had that word in my dictionary since I was a kid!
“I dissected cats and dogs myself since I was three!
“I stayed a night alone in a cemetery at six!
“I even dragged a damn corpse back home from the morgue when I was nine!
“I’ve never known fear!
“Then again, I’m not interested in a lame bet like yours.
“If you’re willing to up the ante, I’m willing to play!”
Kora showed a cold expression.
“That said, do you dare?”
“Talk,” replied Harvey.
“If I lose, I’ll crawl my way out of the damn city.
“If you lose, you do exactly the same.
“How does that sound?”
Harvey chuckled.
“That’s barely enough…
“Why don’t I add something else?
“If I lose, I’ll be yours for the rest of my life! I’ll do whatever you tell me to!
“But if you lose, you’ll have to do whatever I say!
“Well? Do you dare?”
Kora stood frozen before showing a hint of rage in her eyes.
The women were showing confused looks when looking at Harvey.
They felt a mix of resentment, admiration, and fear.
Arlet Pagan hesitated for a moment before heaving a sigh. All she did was look at Harvey’s back.
She realized that there was a lot more distance between Harvey and her at some point.
The proud expression on Kora’s face disappeared when she stared at Harvey with a confused look.
She knew Harvey already but did not expect he would dare throw out the badge without a care in the world.
She looked deep into Harvey’s eyes momentarily.
“Fine!
“Since you want to gamble, I’ll bet with you!
“We’ll see if my eyes are sharper than your damn tongue!
“If you win, I’m all yours!
“But if you lose, you’re mine!
“It’s a deal!”
