Chapter 3719
“More importantly, I’m Flutwell’s provincial champion.”
“I never lost against the Indians either.”
“At least give me a reason as to why you don’t want me to fight.”
Harvey raised his doubts; he didn’t want Longmen to be made fun of without any reason.
Rhea squinted at Harvey, and then chuckled coldly.
“We all know you’re the provincial champion. We know you’re a strong fighter too. We were looking forward to seeing you in the ring…”
“But we just don’t trust you anymore.”
“And since we wouldn’t want to use someone we don’t trust, we’d rather give the chance to somebody else.”
“Everyone can rest assured if that’s the case.
“You don’t trust me?”
Harvey narrowed his eyes.
“Why don’t you make it clearer for me instead?”
Rhea scoffed.
“How do you still not understand?”
“I really don’t. If you can actually convince me, I’ll resign on my own volition.”
Harvey replied with a cold glare.
“But if you can’t, you’ll have to leave immediately.”
“You don’t have a say in Longmen’s matters anyway!”
“You…”
Rhea’s face darkened in an instant after hearing Harvey’s words.
“I wanted to give everyone an out for the Vice Master’s sake…”
“But since you’re being this stubborn, don’t blame me for disrespecting Longmen this way!”
This was the bank’s statement; it clearly indicated that someone sent the money at twelve o’clock last night.
The most surprising thing was that this was the card Harvey used to keep all the pocket money Mandy gave him back in Niumhi.
After all the events that happened, the card was nowhere to be found; since there wasn’t a lot of money in the card, Harvey didn’t bother requesting a new one.
He didn’t think that the card would suddenly end up with the Indians. What a curious turn of events
Harvey was toying with the Indians, but it seemed they had tricks of their own too.
“Tell me! Is this card yours?!”
Rhea’s face was as cold as ice.
“It is, but it’s been lost for a long time,” Harvey replied truthfully.
“You should be able to tell that I wasn’t using the card for the longest time. The account will probably be frozen after a little longer, too.”
“I don’t know how the Indians got the card, but they’re only doing this to cause infighting between us.”
“If I actually wanted to sell myself out, don’t you think I wouldn’t be stupid enough to let them give me the money this way?”
