"Well, we're all finished packing" she says nervously as she plays with her fingers.
"Do you need help loading the car or anything?" He asks shoving his hands in his front pockets of his dress pants.
"No, the boys did all that for me. But thank you for offering" she tells him. They stood there in silences for a few moments, as this weird tension in the air increased. Never in Lena's life has she felt so awkward around her father. Even the time she got her first period, and when it was time for the 'talk'. But then again, her father just would make up an excuse to leave the room. Leaving her mother to do all the talking. Not able to stand the weirdness between them any longer, Lena walks over throwing her arms around him.
"I'm going to miss you dad" she muffles into his chest.
"I'm going to miss you too honey" he tells her wrapping his arms around her, hugging her back tightly.
"I know I've been hard on you about the whole mate thing, but I know Damians a good man. I let my fatherly instincts take over before giving him a chance. I know he will protect you with his own life, and I'm happy that he is your mate" her father confesses truthfully. Elena's eyes bugged out as she looked up to her father shocked.
"Really?" she squeaks.
"Yes really!" He chuckles.
"I'm sorry for how I acted before, but I'll always love you know matter what" he tells her smiling, then leans down placing a kiss on the top of her head.
"I love you too daddy" she responds giving him one more hug. After their good byes, Lena started to head out of her father's office, but he called out to her.
"Yes?" she says stopping at the door. He looks at her nervously rubbing the back of his head.
"Keith knows about you and Damian" He tells her sounding a little sorry.
"Great" she groans loudly.
"Sorry honey, but Alpha Grayson and I had no choice. Keith was going ape shit over the fact you were at Damians" He informs her.
"Its fine, I was trying to tell him anyways, but then we got attack by the Vampires"
She wasn't mad at them honestly, because he was bound to find out sooner or later. But she just wished she could have been the one to tell him.
"I'll will talk to him" She tells her father. He just nods giving her a sympathetic smile before she turned to leave.
Lena and Blair were in the kitchen preparing dinner for the guys. It was their way of saying thanks for helping her move her things. Blair was working on a dessert while Lena cook the dinner, because Blair is better Baker then a cooker. They had some music playing in the background as they moved around in the kitchen effortlessly. Everything seemed to come naturally to Lena like she lived there her whole life. She was enjoying her new role at Blackshaw pack house. She always loved cooking, but was going to let the guys know not to get used to her doing it all the time.
The girls were interrupted when Damian came storming into the kitchen. He slumped down on the counter chair putting his head in his hands, groaning loudly.
"So, who's this mate?" Blair asks.
"Viola" he mumbles.
"I don't think I've met her ye, have you Lee?" Blair asks tapping her finger to her chin thinking hard to herself. She couldn't recall anyone by that name.
"No" she replies studying Damian closely.
"Wait, I think that's the girl whose very shy and keeps to herself. I've seen her a few times, she's very pretty" Blair states, snapping her fingers.
"Is there anything wrong with her?" Lena directs the question towards Damien.
"No" he snaps.
"Why are you getting so defensive? Is it because it's someone you used to date?" Lena says kind of annoyed crossing her arms now. Damian snaps his head up looking at her like she's was crazy.
"You know I never dated anyone before! Why would you even think that?"
