The Rise of a Master It Starts With Rejection novel Chapter 970

As long as Harmony Clinic was open, Natalie would always come by—rain or shine. Although she always left quickly after getting insulted, she would still come.

"Are you stupid? You don't want to get close to me, yet you still come by. What's wrong with you?" Felix snapped.

However, Natalie didn't get angry this time. Instead, she turned and closed the shutter door—surprising Felix.

"Hah! I can see that you're all bark but no bite. Now that the door is closed, we're alone. You can do whatever you want to me. Come on." A sly look flashed in Natalie's eyes.

Felix was so annoyed he wanted to teach her a lesson and tell her to never come again.

"You said it yourself. How lucky I am to have one of the Top Ten Menaces—Natalie Earnheart, the beautiful alchemist. I didn't expect I would get to have a taste," Felix said as he walked over to her slowly.

His movement made Natalie feel a little unsure. Could the elder's analysis be wrong? Was this man really a pervert?

"There are surveillance cameras in the clinic. It'll prove that you consented to have sex with me."

As he approached, Felix made it look like he was about to drool. Natalie, on the other hand, felt terrified.

"How shameless! I'll never come and see you again! You're disgusting!" she exclaimed. She pulled open the door and slammed it angrily on her way out.

However, Felix felt relief. "It should be completely effective this time."

Meanwhile, Jared sat outside in a car, wanting to laugh and applaud Felix's audacity if it wasn't for the current situation.

"Hah! What a fool you are, Felix! You're digging your own grave! You even closed the shutter door? You're definitely dead meat now!" he thought triumphantly.

In the clinic, Felix was reading a medical book. When he heard footsteps, he looked up and was about to greet the entrant. However, he was stunned to see who it was.

It was someone he would never forget. It was the man who wanted to take his Dragonspine back then. If it weren't for Karina's appearance, Felix would've died then.

"It's you!" Felix exclaimed.

Atlas, who had come in, stopped in his tracks. He stared at Felix with bulging eyes, disbelief all over his face. At first, he thought he had made a mistake, but Felix had the same reaction, so he knew that this was the same man he had tried to kill!

After thinking of all the possibilities, Atlas was sure of one thing—Felix couldn't have come to Martial City knowing he was here. If Felix knew, how could he have walked into this trap?

But since it happened… Atlas chuckled. "Felix, the gods are watching! You're really brave!"
