The Rise of a Master It Starts With Rejection novel Chapter 921

To Felix's surprise, the winner of Arena Three turned out to be Ronan, whose strength was remarkable.

Once all four finalists agreed they didn't need much rest, the championship match was scheduled for an hour later. It would adopt a draw-lot system to determine the pairings for two one-on-one matches.

Felix sat alone in the resting area with his eyes closed as he meditated. The rules prohibited any interaction between contestants during this period.

"Felix, are you really going to continue?"

The unexpected voice made him open his eyes, and he saw Xena had entered the room.

"Of course. I've come this far. Is there any reason not to?"

A trace of worry flickered in Xena's eyes. She hadn't wanted to come but couldn't suppress her emotions. "Those three… not one of them is simple. I can't say more, but you should think carefully."

Felix smiled. "Don't worry. I'm not simple either, am I?"

Xena stared at him for a long moment before turning and leaving without another word.

About half an hour later, a staff member, accompanied by Hector and Cairo, entered the room.

The staff member held a box in his arms for the draw. Meanwhile, two warlords escorting the process emphasized the importance of the competition.

"Felix, I've got my money on you!" Hector gave a thumbs-up, his enthusiastic encouragement bringing an amused smile to Felix's face.

Cairo, by contrast, remained expressionless. To him, the champion was undoubtedly Aiden. The only real challenge was Milo, who was no doubt a formidable opponent.

"Thank you, Mr. Downy." Felix rose, casually drew a lot, and unfolded it.

The slip bore the number two.

Melissa froze in disbelief. "Wait, does that mean Felix has to fight Milo?"

Everyone knew how fearsome Milo was. Wally, with all his tricks and uncanny techniques, had been killed in a single stroke by her. It was easy to imagine the challenge Felix now faced.

"Felix's luck with women really is something else," Billy joked. "Even his opponents are beauties."

Melissa shot him a glare. "Fatso, is that all you can think about? Ugh, you're so annoying! If you can't say anything useful, just shut up. Nala, what do we do?"

Nala, however, laughed softly and said, "What's there to panic about? Trust Felix. He's not someone who would fall here. No way."

What she didn't say aloud was her firm belief in Felix. He was a man she had her eyes on—a future titan destined to stand at the pinnacle.

Something as minor as a martial arts competition couldn't possibly stop him.
