Felix smiled apologetically. “I’m sorry, but my phone has no signal. I promise to come and pay you back when ‘ back.” 

When he came out of the supermarket, there were a few more people around Lena. They took the initiative to help Felix hold his bags.

When they got home, Lena and a few of the townsfolk cleaned the house again without Felix asking. Soon, the house looked brand new. 

After a while, someone came over with a lot of food, cigarettes, alcohol, and many other necessities. 

“This is too much!” Felix said, a little embarrassed. 

Lena smiled. “Damien, our town has changed dramatically now. To tell you the truth, as long as you don’t leave town from now on, you don’t have to spend a single penny on your future expenses.” 

Felix pretended to be ecstatic. “Is that true? Aunt Lena, that’s unbelievable!” 

Lena continued to persuade him earnestly, “Of course, it’s true! Once you’ve settled in a few days, Mr. Docker will teach you how to make money. And you’ll make lots of money!” 

“That’s great, Aunt Lena! That’s awesome! How can I bear to leave such a town?” 

Lena nodded and opened the door. A beautiful woman in a miniskirt walked in. Not only was she pretty, but her figure was impressive. 

“What our town lacks now is young men like you. Many of the girls in town are single. What do you think about this one? 

“She can be your girlfriend for now. And after a while, if you don’t think she’s good enough, I’ll find another one for you,” Lena said. 

Damn! Even girlfriends were distributed? Besides, Felix could enjoy everything without spending a penny. No wonder no one wanted to leave again as long as they returned to Seapoint. 

As he thought about it, the girl had already taken Felix’s arm. 

“Then, Damien, I’ll be your girlfriend from now on. I’ll stay the night here, okay?”
