No one showed Felix where to go, with only Asher standing beside him as they waited for Aiden to return. 

“Felix, don’t be so stubborn. You can’t fight the inevitable! You should be grateful that Grandma is willing to let you return to the Greene family,” Asher urged, but Felix remained 

silent. 

“If it weren’t for Uncle Victor, do you think I’d be this patient with you? Today is your best chance–if you cure Grandma, you’ll prove your worth, and no one will oppose your return to the family.” 

When Felix continued ignoring him, Asher finally became quiet. Ten minutes later, Aiden appeared, pushing a wheelchair, followed by over a dozen impressive–looking individuals.

Felix studied the elderly woman in the wheelchair. Despite her silver hair, her skin showed remarkably few wrinkles—a testament to decades of careful maintenance. 

“Grandma, this is Felix Zeller,” Aiden announced 

Meredith Armstrong, the Greene family matriarch, did not even bother to flash a smile. She said coldly, “Victor was my least favorite son, yet surprisingly, his offspring achieved notable success in certain areas. I suppose that somewhat repays my efforts in raising the family. 

“But those eyes–they’re too much like Victor’s. I don’t like them at all.”

With a wave of her hand, she continued, “Come here. I’ve been wheelchair–bound for the past three years. Even Lemuel couldn’t cure my legs, but I hear your medical ‘s are quite impressive now. 

“I’m giving you a chance to examine me. If you can heal me, I’ll let you return to the Greene family with full recognition.” 

Felix finally spoke up. “Do I seem interested in returning to the Greene family?” 

Meredith frowned. “Whether you return or not is your choice. Now get over here!” 

In the Greene family, Meredith’s word was law. Her quiet commands had long since become absolute orders that no one dared disobey—except Felix. 

“I came here only to warn you: if you ever bother my friends again, don’t blame me for what happens next,” Felix declared. 

As Felix turned to leave, Aiden did not try to stop him but said, “Tomorrow, I’ll invite Jack over. The day after, it’ll be George. Then who else? Let me think… perhaps Wendy and Ryan? They should all feel quite honored by the invitation.” 

Felix stopped, his expression darkening. “Are you threatening me?” 

Aiden smiled. “How’s that a threat? Felix, you should be thankful for your Dragon Knight

Felix slowly turned to face Meredith’s mocking smile and Aiden’s arrogant expression. “If you dare go after Jack tomorrow, I’ll make sure the Greene family is erased from Dragonia.” 

Aiden laughed again. “Oh really? Such big talk. I promise you that I’ll send people to invite Jack over tomorrow morning. What can you do about it? If you’re man enough, don’t make empty threats. If you’ve got the power, prove it right now!” 

Felix stepped forward, and his patience finally snapped. He could handle their treatment of him, but he would not let them touch his friends. 

“Fine. Then let me show the so–called greatest family in Dragonia what I’m capable of.”
