When Drake showed no signs of leaving, Nancy angrily retrieved her phone. “I’m really going to call the police!” 

However, her phone rang at that moment. It was her mother, and she had to answer. 

“What? Uncle’s in the hospital? It’s that serious? I understand, Mom. I’m coming right now!” 

Drake immediately offered, “Cici, let me drive you. I know people at the hospital who can-

“No!” Nancy cut him off, rushing to get dressed and hurrying out. 

Felix had no choice but to follow her. After all, he could not just stand by when she needed help. Nancy had seen Felix work his magic on an elderly patient before, and now that her uncle was sick, he could not just ignore it. 

Drake threw the flowers to the ground in frustration. He grumbled angrily, “You’re pushing it too far! I can’t believe you’re already visiting Nancy’s place. I have to stop this before you ruin her!” 

In the car, Nancy turned to Felix with reddened eyes. “Felix, I’m sorry to ask, but could you please take a look at my uncle? I’m really worried about him.” 

“of course, I wouldn’t have come if I wasn’t planning to help,” Felix assured her. He could tell she was close to her uncle.

“The cardiology department is full, and there’s no room for surgery yet. We’re pulling every string we can to get him help. Do you know anyone at Mercy Hospital?” 

Standing at the emergency room entrance, Felix called Leonard. He could tell direct treatment was no longer an option in this situation.
