Felix raised his hand, signaling the Earthen Hall members to stand down as he calmly looked at Theodore, who was now only inches away. 

“No. You’re the one who crossed the line,” Felix replied. “I respect your loyalty, but that doesn’t change anything.” 

Terrified, Andrei quickly intervened, “Theodore, stand down! Don’t mess around!‘ 

It was no joke. Even the members of the Martial Alliance Council from his family acknowledged that the resurgence of Dragon Alliance was unstoppable. Andrei did not dare to make them his enemies. 

If anything happened to Felix, his family would undoubtedly abandon him, and someone else would soon take his place as the wealthiest man in Canraville. 

“If anything happens to Mr. Hawkins, I’ll kill you,” Theodore threatened, his eyes filled with icy determination. 

Felix merely scoffed at Theodore’s threat. In the past, he could have ended his life with a single slap. 

“You’re Theodore Walker, right? For that statement alone, your fate is sealed,” Felix said coldly. Once his strength returned, Theodore would not live to see another day. 

“Mr. Zeller,” Andrei interjected, sweating nervously. “Can you give me five minutes? I only need five minutes.” 

“Oh?” Felix found Andrei’s request intriguing. “Fine. I’ll give you five minutes.” 

He was curious to see what backup plan Andrei had in mind that might change his decision. Felix had already heard from Vivian about the incident at Martial Alliance’s headquarters, which emboldened Pierce to employ an assassin. That was the reason why Felix directly went to Andrei’s location, knowing that Theodore alone wouldn’t pose a threat. On top of that, Averill could probably be secretly watching over him. 

Andrei, having been granted five minutes, quickly sent a message. Cold sweat was beading on his forehead. 

He realized something disturbing. Assassin organizations were typically highly discreet, so how did Felix know who had hired them? The sheer implications of this were staggering. 

Two minutes later, Felix’s phone rang. It was Michelle calling. 

Since he was waiting, he picked up the call. “Michelle, just tell me what you need. Drop the formalities.” 

Michelle hesitated for a while before finally saying,. “Felix, could I ask you to spare Mr.

Hawkins? Please?” 

“Mr. Hawkins?” Felix raised an eyebrow. “Which Mr. Hawkins?” 

“Andrei Hawkins,” she replied. 

Surprised, Felix glanced over at Andrei, surprised that Michelle was his backup plan. 

“What’s your relationship with him?” Felix asked. 

“Mr. Hawkins’s son is my boyfriend. Felix, I really love him, and he’s promised to marry me. Please, could you spare Mr. Hawkins?” she pleaded. 

Interesting. If he remembered correctly, Michelle had only recently broken up with her ez. How did she find someone else so quickly? Despite her evident fear, her willingness to make this request showed that her feelings for Andrei’s son were genuine. 

“Alright. I’ll grant your request,” Felix said. Andrei’s life or death didn’t matter much to him. 

However, it was different for Michelle. Since she was Karina’s niece, he needed to look after and protect her. Even if she were to make an unforgivable mistake, he wouldn’t feel right handling it himself. He’d defer to Karina. This minor issue was certainly something he could overlook. 

After ending the call, Felix smiled at Andrei. “Impressive. Having more sons is indeed beneficial. But let me make one thing clear. If any harm comes to Michelle, every person involved will pay with their lives.” 

With that, Felix turned to leave, while Pierce was escorted away by the Earthen Hall members, his fate now sealed. 

Only then did Andrei breathe a sigh of relief. 

Ever since learning about Perry’s suicide, he had begun investigating Felix meticulously, not overlooking a single detail. During his research, he discovered an opportunity in the fact that Felix had bought a new villa in Serenity Manor.
