“Hey, are you two here for dinner too? Are you here for dinner with Mr. Jackson?” Walter asked. 

Lilian hurriedly replied, “No. Is Sean having dinner here?” 

“Yeah, he’s having a meal with a few heavy drinkers. I was just on my way to grab more wine from the car. Anyway, I gotta run.” 

Just then, Luke stopped him and asked, “Walter, do you… do you know that guy?” 

They had seen it clearly. Walter had stepped aside and respectfully bowed to Felix. It felt so surreal to them. 

Walter turned back to them, his brow furrowing. “Not exactly. Why are you asking? Do you know him?” 

If Walter didn’t exactly know him, why was he acting so respectful to him? 

Luke’s mind raced as he asked again, “Isn’t he Felix Zeller?” 

Instantly, Walter’s expression turned serious. “That’s right! Did you offend him? Be honest; this could be serious.” 

Lilian trembled slightly. She opened her mouth but seemed lost for words. Luke, however, laughed. 

“Come on, Walter, relax. He’s my girlfriend’s cousin. There’s no way I’d offend him. 

Walter’s eyes lit up as he grabbed Luke’s arm in excitement. “Are you sure? You’d better not lie about something like this.” 

“Yeah, I’m not lying.” 

Walter didn’t waste another second. He hurriedly led Luke away, with Lilian close behind. 

“Wait here. Mr. Jackson will be out shortly.” 

Walter returned in less than a minute, accompanied by a young man. 

“Sean,” the Sanders siblings said, greeting their cousin with utmost respect. 

“Luke, you’re saying Felix is your girlfriend’s cousin?” Sean asked. 

Luke swallowed, surprised that he had managed to pull Sean into this situation. What exactly was going on? Things weren’t quite unfolding as he had expected. 

The entire family’s fortune was due to Sean’s family, and Sean was the eldest and most likely future leader of his family. Even Luke and Lilian’s father showed him respect.

“Yes, Sean. My girlfriend’s cousin happened to be in Yartford, so we had dinner together.” Hearing that, Sean laughed and clapped Luke on the shoulder, clearly thrilled. 

“Wonderful!” 

He looked at Luke with approval. 

“You’re on a lucky streak! Get close to her and get married soon! If everything goes well, my family might be looking to you for help someday. 

“Come see me at the company tomorrow. I’ll have a contract ready. Marry Felix’s cousin and your fortune will surpass your father’s,” Sean said. 

With that, Sean went back inside, his mood evidently much brighter. The last time he had inadvertently offended George, he hadn’t been able to rest easy until he found a way to make amends. Now that he had finally found a way, his relief was palpable. 

As Walter turned to leave, Lilian, finally realizing the gravity of the situation, grabbed his arm. She was almost on the verge of tears. 

“Walter, please, tell me. What’s the relationship between Sean and Felix?” 

What relationship did they share? Walter let out a wry smile. 

“Well, it would be great if they had a relationship! Let’s just say even George calls Felix Mr. Zeller.‘ That should tell you all you need to know.”
