“Wendy told me, of course. The more people involved, the more leads we get. See? I got the information right away. Aren’t you happy?” Dora replied. 

Felix smiled, realizing that even though Wendy had left Avesburgh, she had helped him once again. “The Veilflower is indeed important to me. Name your price. What do I need to do for you to tell me?” he asked. 

Dora was overjoyed, realizing that this information was precious to Felix. “It’s simple. Marry me, and everything I have will be 

yours. 

“Try again. And remember. My patience is limited,” Felix warned. 

Dora pouted. “You’re no fun at all. Fine. Since Sam offended you last time, I’ll tell you. But I hope that if my family ever needs help, you’ll lend a hand.”

They had discovered Veilflower on a mountain, but the person’s uncle, who was based in Avesburgh, had also been searching for it. He had arranged to have it shipped to him, and getting this location cost another half a million dollars.
