“Who dares disturb the peace of the Great Imperial Sect?” the Supreme Elder questioned. 

At that point, Xena had rushed in front of Felix. She had a solemn expression. 

“Felix! Just admit your fault quickly. I might be able to plead for mercy on your behalf! If the Supreme Elder hears the full story, you’ll have no chance of survival!” 

Felix responded with a dismissive laugh. 

“To be honest, don’t you think it’s rather ridiculous? First, you refuse to reason with me. Now, after killing me, you think you can reason with Dragon Alliance. And what do they call the Great Imperial Sect?”

Furious, Xena glared at Felix before storming off. 

She thought he was being ungrateful. Fine, he could die if he wanted! She shouldn’t have offered any help in the first place. 

Meanwhile, the Supreme Elder materialized before the kneeling Jaxon and the others. He had already been briefed on the situation. 

The old man raised his head suddenly, locking eyes with Felix from across the arena.
