Audrey had scolded Kara many times before, believing that Kara often went too far. But now, seeing Kara in this state, Audrey couldn't help but feel distressed.
Watching Nolan's indifferent demeanor only deepened the pain in Audrey's heart.
Nolan sighed and shook his head. "It's over. There's nothing more to say. You all went to great lengths to bring me to this birthday party. Now that I'm here, did you get the outcome you wanted?"
He chuckled coldly and continued, "If this could serve as a wake-up call for you all, then perhaps it's worth it."
With that, Nolan turned to Scarlet and said calmly, "Let's go. I don't think we're welcome here anymore."
Scarlet flashed a menacing grin and nodded. He then followed behind Nolan, leaving the hall.
Meanwhile, Archie, looking at Lincoln, said firmly, "After the traitor has crawled around for two laps, tie him up and bring him back home!"
Lincoln nodded. "Rest assured, Mr. Baxter. I'll handle it."
Only after Nolan and Archie left did the banquet hall erupt in chatter. Everyone started discussing the evening's events.
They dared not leave immediately, afraid of running into Nolan outside. In fact, with Nolan gone now, this banquet hall felt like the safest place to be.
Besides, there was still something in the hall that interested them greatly.
As soon as Nolan left, the crowd began to move toward Jennifer, their eyes gleaming with curiosity as if they wanted to devour her with their stares.
"Amazing! Is this really the effect of the Spirit of Life Serum? It's miraculous!"
"Mr. Hance, you must be joking. We'd never dare entertain such thoughts. We were just curious to witness the miracle of the Spirit of Life Serum for ourselves. Now that we've seen it, we're satisfied."
"Yeah, Mr. Hance, don't be misunderstood. We wouldn't dare have any ideas."
Nick nodded. "I'm glad to hear that. Otherwise, I may not know Mr. Greene well, but I will stand by my employees, and I expect everyone to understand that clearly."
He then added, "Now that everything is resolved, please, enjoy the food and drinks."
After speaking, Nick turned to leave. He had refrained from speaking to Nolan too much, but he couldn't avoid him entirely.
After all, Nolan held Walter's business card. For that reason alone, he intended to stay on Nolan's good side.
