After saying that, Nolan took out a name card from his pocket and showed it to Nick.
Nick accepted the card with a harrumph. Then, his calm face immediately turned pale and solemn.
When he looked at Nolan once more, there was a mysterious gaze.
"Who are you?" he asked.
Nolan smirked and said, "I'm Nolan Greene, but that's not an impressive name, is it? Well, the person on that card looked for me a few days ago and said I could approach him if I ever needed his help. I could even go to his men in the Eastern State if it were inconvenient to see him. Do I need to go on, Mr. Hance?
"Would you like to make a call and see if this is the real deal? After all, this is a serious matter, and we need to verify it, don't we?"
After he saw how calm Nolan looked, Nick took a deep breath and shook his head. "There's no need for that. He might've given out his name card a lot, but a card like this isn't just for sharing his contacts. It's also proof of how highly he thinks of you.
"Mr. Greene, if I've offended you in any way, please forgive me. From now on, I'll definitely help you in any way I can if you need it."
That was Walter's name card. The reason why Nick could be disrespectful toward Blake was because Nick was one of Walter's men.
Nolan didn't think that the name card was proof at all, but it didn't matter. What mattered the most was the results.
Nick looked at the crowd fiercely for the first time. "Shut up and stay put, all of you. Otherwise, even if Mr. Baxter doesn't deal with you himself, I'll personally punish you on behalf of the Norwich Group."
With that, no one dared to make any noise anymore.
However, their confusion grew stronger. They didn't understand how Nolan could control the situation.
Nick could disregard Gregory and Archie if he wished. However, after talking to Nolan for a couple of seconds, he suddenly became a different person. It was absolutely ridiculous to them.
They started to question their original assumption that Nolan was only being so ruthless because he was backed by Archie.
