The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 319

Nick spoke confidently. It was as if no one was able to refuse him.

Blake shrugged and ignored Nick. Then, he looked at Nolan with an admiring gaze.

"As expected of the chosen one. He sure is cruel and crazy! That's one elite madman. Usually, he appears to be like any harmless person. But when he finally strikes, he can shake the whole world. Anyone would be trembling around him when he's out of control," Blake said.

Meanwhile, everyone else at the scene was stunned in fear.

First, they looked at Shaun, whose face was almost eradicated. Then, they turned to the emotionless Nolan, who looked extremely inhumane.

They wondered if it really was happening. Was that the same Nolan that they were humiliating earlier?

Megan and Jeanne were standing at the side, and they couldn't help shaking in fear. They looked at Nolan in disbelief, and it felt like he was a stranger to them.

"Jeanne, is that really Nolan? When did he become so scary and crazy? He's like the devil himself!" Even Megan's voice was trembling, and it clearly showed how Nolan was making her feel at that moment.

Meanwhile, Jeanne was not much better than Megan. "Did Nolan become crazy because we've driven him too much? But this is way too crazy! Even if the Baxters have abandoned Mr. Shaun, he's still Mr. Baxter's son, and Mr. Baxter is standing right there! How is he so bold to do this?"

She couldn't understand it at all, and neither could Megan. However, everything was happening right in front of their eyes.

There were many people who had the same questions as them, but they couldn't find any answers. All they could do was watch the show in a daze.

Then, he sat on a chair on the side with a blank expression, looking at Shaun.

Shaun removed his clothes while everyone looked at him. Every movement he made caused him to wince in pain. Whenever he winced, his wounds would move as well, worsening the pain.

When he only had his underwear left, he was ready to get on the ground. However, Nolan frowned and asked, "Aren't you going to take that off?"

Upon hearing that, Shaun's body trembled strongly while he was on all fours.

As for the rest of the crowd, they looked at Nolan as if they had seen the devil. They wondered if it still wasn't enough for him to torture Shaun like that.
