When Hunter heard what Kara said, he immediately looked at Nolan with a cold smirk. "So, you want me to kneel and apologize to you on some glass shards, huh? Alright, very well! I like the idea very much. Otherwise, it'll be too easy for you to just kneel normally."
After he said that, he called Tristan and said aggrievedly, "Tristan, save me! Someone's bullying me at our bar! He's alone, but he's great at fighting. Tristan, I've already mentioned you and Lincoln as well, but he doesn't give a damn at all. In fact, he even hit me harder after that. Please bring some backup now!
After a bit, he said, "Alright. Don't worry, Tristan. I would rather die trying than let him get away."
After he was done speaking, he hung up the call and looked confident again. He stubbornly looked at Nolan. "Just wait. Tristan will be here soon, and it'll be too late for you to beg for mercy then!"
Nolan nodded. "Alright. I'm waiting."
Then, he smashed another bottle on the ground, and there were instantly more shards.
Hunter had a bad feeling when he saw it. After all, he had already called for backup and told Nolan who he was working for. However, Nolan still didn't look scared at all.
Hunter felt something was wrong when he saw how calm Nolan was. However, too much had happened, and it would be impossible for him to back away at that moment.
Meanwhile, everyone in the bar was surrounding them, waiting for something exciting to happen.
The three men sitting nearby looked nonchalant. It was as if what was happening was boring to them. After all, they were professional hitmen, and they weren't here to mess around.
"Guys, are we just going to watch like this? They're just like kids messing around. This is boring! Why don't we get this done as soon as possible so that we can complete Mr. Lynch's orders?" one of the three men said.
Hunter and the rest were in an awkward position. Some of them were standing around, while the rest were lying on the ground.
The awkward scene didn't last for too long as they heard a ruckus approaching. Then, they saw a middle-aged man barging into the bar with a huge group of people. There were at least a few dozen of them, and they were holding all kinds of weapons.
As they walked, they yelled nonstop. "Who's bold enough to cause a scene here? How dare he hit one of us? Does he have a damn death wish? Get out here now so that we can kill you!"
They looked so fierce that many people in the crowd were instantly scared. Some of the more cowardly ones were already prepared to leave quietly.
As for the rest, they cleared a path so that Tristan and his men could walk in smoothly.
