The Perfect Wife's Perfect Revenge novel Chapter 926

"He's dead! What more do you want from him?"

Felicia didn't believe her. She looked at the man lying motionless in a pool of dried blood. Seeing his mangled state, a flicker of emotion crossed her face. She stepped closer to inspect him.

Suddenly, Dorian sprang from the floor with a terrifying burst of adrenaline. He tackled Felicia to the ground. In that split second, Leonie pulled a fruit knife and pressed the blade directly against Felicia's throat.

"Tell them to get a car ready..." Dorian rasped, his voice barely a whisper.

Following his lead, Leonie held the blade steady against the woman's neck. With just a fraction of pressure, a thin line of blood welled up. Wincing in pain, Felicia frantically yelled at her men, "Get the car! Do it now!"

Her bodyguards froze, terrified to make a move while their boss was held hostage. Leonie pressed the blade harder, the blood trickling down Felicia's skin. Panic seized her.

"Do what they say! Hurry!"

Leonie and Dorian forced Felicia out of the basement and up to the surface. A bodyguard pulled a black SUV around to the front.

Dorian leaned in and whispered weakly in Leonie's ear.

"Get in the car. Go."

"We leave together!" Leonie insisted.

Dorian nodded. "Let's move her toward the doors."

Felicia was forced to walk alongside them, absolutely seething with rage, but the knife at her throat kept her compliant.

"Don't think this means you're free," Felicia hissed. "Even if you drive off, I will hunt you down. I can let Leonie go, but you, Dorian, are never leaving my sight alive."

"I never planned on leaving you," Dorian wheezed. "Promise you'll let Leonie go, and I'll stay with you."

With a blade to her neck, Felicia was in no position to negotiate. It wasn't that Dorian was buying time—he was actively sacrificing himself to hold her back.

The second Leonie climbed into the driver's seat, the bodyguards swarmed Dorian, slamming him brutally into the concrete.

In her panic, Leonie slammed her foot on the gas. It wasn't until she had sped down the block that she realized the passenger seat was empty.

It hit her like a physical blow—Dorian had tricked her so she could escape. She couldn't leave him behind in that monster's hands. As Felicia watched the SUV speed off, she immediately ordered her men to beat Dorian to a pulp.
