After sending the message, Camila waited for several more minutes. But there was still no response from Zachary.
She frowned again and muttered, "Why isn't he replying?"
With that thought, she quickly typed another message. "Zac, do you prefer cat maids or bunny girls? How about I wear a maid outfit for you next time?"
As soon as she sent the message, Zachary in the neighboring room was taken aback.
He had no idea what was happening with Anya today and why she would send such messages late at night.
Recalling the two leg photos that 'Anya' had sent earlier, he hurriedly put his phone down. He worried that if he kept looking, 'Anya' might send him something else.
That night, he had a dream filled with beautiful legs. In the dream's finale, Anya was wearing a cat-maid outfit, blushing as she shyly reached out to scratch him.
The dream was lovely, but beautiful dreams were often fleeting.
Just as Zachary was enjoying his sweet dreams, he was abruptly awakened by the doorbell.
He checked the time and was surprised to see it was already 9:00 am.
He didn't expect to sleep so soundly. Usually, he would wake up by around 7:00 am.
Maybe it was because he had stayed up too late last night.
After getting out of bed and opening the door, he saw Anya and Camila dressed and ready for the day.
Seeing Anya made him recall the dream he had last night.
...
After the three had breakfast, Camila drove Anya and Zachary to the upscale restaurant where they had dined the previous day.
"I'll have someone contact Molly later about the signing. As for the development zone project, I'll get back to you by tomorrow at the latest. Bye!"
After the two exited the car, Camila waved goodbye and sped off.
Anya drove Zachary directly to the company.
She took the exclusive elevator while Zachary used the public one. As soon as he stepped out of the elevator, he encountered Clay carrying a cardboard box.
Before he could finish, Zachary interrupted, "I brought him here. Do you have a problem with that?"
He glanced at the name tag on the employee's chest as he spoke. It read, "Marketing Department—Danny Moon".
Danny still smiled, but his attitude remained stubborn. "Mr. Lloyd, we have rules in our department. What you're doing isn't compliant!"
"No!" Zachary's expression gradually grew colder as he looked at Danny. "Danny Moon, right? From now on, you're fired. Pack your things and get out!"
Danny's facial expression changed dramatically, and he shouted, "Mr. Lloyd, on what basis are you firing me?"
Zachary sneered. "On what basis? I'm the deputy manager, and you're just an ordinary employee in the marketing department. Is that reason not enough?"
"You're abusing your power!"
"If you have a problem, report me to the Department of Labor. Leave now!" After saying that, he ignored Danny and led Clay directly back to his office.
Once they were inside, he inquired about Clay's situation, and a surge of anger rose within him.
