Roger lowered his gaze, staring at the side of the girl's face. Bathed in the warm light, she looked incredibly serene and gentle.
He couldn't help but think.
If they had a child of their own, they would definitely be just as adorable.
"Ahhh~"
Compared to Frederick's quiet demeanor, Ophelia was a total handful.
First, she cried. After crying, she drank half a bottle of milk.
Not even a few minutes of playing later, she started crying all over again.
Emily and Kenneth were in a frantic rush trying to change her diaper.
Just when they finally got it done, the little girl's bottom lip jutted out, and she spat up milk.
The clothes they had literally just put on her had to be changed all over again.
After that ordeal, the two of them looked utterly defeated, their foreheads dripping with sweat.
These little chubby bunnies were undeniably cute.
But they were also undeniably exhausting.
"Let's just stick to having one in the future," Kenneth sighed, collapsing back onto the sofa and wiping the sweat from his brow. "This takes way too much out of you."
Emily's face flushed a deep red as she shot him a fierce glare.
Although they had officially started dating a while ago, their busy schedules meant they rarely saw each other. Their relationship hadn't progressed past kissing...
And even now, when they were finally together, he wasn't making a move.
Emily bit her lip, stealing a covert glance at Kenneth, a nagging doubt creeping into her mind.
Could it be... he really couldn't perform?!
After dinner, the elders whisked the babies away while the younger crowd gathered around the bar to chat.
"You're going back next week?" Kenneth asked, shocked by Charlotte's words. "You don't want to rest a bit longer?"
"I'm fine."
Charlotte sat tucked in the corner of the sofa, leaning comfortably against Anthony's chest. Her fingers flew across her laptop keyboard as she broke down choreography steps. "I'm bored anyway."
No one would let her help with the babies. All she did every day was eat, sleep, and eat again...
If this kept up, she was going to lose her mind.
"Next Monday, I'll head over to your agency." Charlotte kept her eyes glued to the screen, her hands never stopping. "Have your people ready, and we'll dive straight into the routines."
